Been trying to do this quest and killed the elemental numerous times and it isn’t counting. Even fishing isn’t pulling up the needed items, what’s going on? Anyone else having issues?

This happened to me when I first killed it. I killed it a second time and the little pools showed up and I got credit. You cannot fish up the fish until you have killed Rolly and then the little bubble pools will show up.
It’s a bit buggy so maybe move on to something else and come back to it.
I had to drop it and get it again and it finally worked.
Dropping quest and closing down the game and reopening fixed it for me.
