🤣 A guild job application

Alright so I spoted a cool guild on my server I liked the name etc etc, I whisper someone to join, he says ; go to this website

I got to the website and the application forms to join,
These are the questions I got
;what makes you want to join ------
What are your strengths and weaknesses
Give 3 guilds you were in before and your reason for leaving
And it kept going on and on and on. At the end I said is this really worth my time ? Closed the form and forgot about it it was the most ridiculous thing I ever saw in my 27 years of life.

If they don’t have a discord for applications you don’t want to join them.

Yeah, it is very silly to me. But, to some, gaming is a job and they are just looking for like-minded individuals.

My guild is dead. Usually, myself and 1 or 2 others on at a time. I like it though. Wish you luck on your guild journey!

It sounds like they’re trying to be an active guild. During Vanilla (some) endgame guilds did this. If the app wasn’t worth your time, then you weren’t worth their time.

It’s supposed to show that you want to be part of the guild, show up to events, help out, and become a community.

Isn’t that what everyone’s saying they’re missing?

My guild has it so they talk to you in discord first and they see if you’re someone they want. They also only take mains.

They just want people who are serious about joining the guild. Guilds who mass invite anyone that wants to join are usually low in quality and have 0 cohesion. I assure you if you spent 5 minutes filling out the application, they wouldn’t truly read into your answers and invite you.

If you haven’t been paying attention, guilds tend to be one of two types… Guilds who don’t care who they let in, and those who care quite a bit about who they let in.

You found one that cares.

If you don’t care enough to fill out their form, then that guild probably isn’t for you… both you and the guild leader will be happier if you don’t bother.
