I’m planning on making an Eredar Warlock when 10.1.7 drops. Are there any Alliance MG guilds that will be accepting Eredar characters? My planned background for him is that he was part of the Burning Legion and is seeking to join Draenei society now that the Burning Legion has (presumably) collapsed into bands of Warlords fighting for dominance of the remnants.
I’m not too picky with guilds. I’d like an Alliance guild that’s decently lore-abiding. Not sure if I’m interested in a cult/evil guild, but I’d be open to a guild centered around Warlocks.

I could say a “Cabal” type clique could work. I am awaiting to see what the actual lore is for the new looks. If not a guild a community maybe. But so much really depends on whats coming down the pike and exactly what the lore is.

I think that is going to be a pretty common (and totally viable) RP theme for Eredar Characters. We tend to view the entirety of a race as high ranking soldiers and fanatics to the cause, when conceivably, the masses would be common citizens who might not have had much choice in the matter, until now!
Myself, I TOTALLY plan on exploiting the “Time Rift” elements currently in game, which will give birth to “Fel-veti!”

I am already stoked for all of the red goats to arrive. The war is over. My LF will want to integrate as many as possible. He is a diplomat now so even open to the idea of hosting a sort of “Fel-o-holics anonymous” club for red goats that have nowhere to go.
Im also open to interacting with the more abrasive types that want conflict. So when the updates drop ill post an RP flyer.

Well, I can tell you my guild has one person who will be converting their Draenei over to the new skins once they drop. Definitely a different back story, but still. We accept repentant Scarlets, so it’d be weird to draw a line in my book for repentant Eredar/Man’ari.

Yeah, I am left waiting a bit for what exactly is the lore in 10.1.7 (Thanks Blizz, put all RP’ers in a purgatory of waiting);
But, tentively my working story is a Draenei who embraced weilding darker radical magics after/during the Orc-Draenei wars on Draenor. Ultimately following the Illidari; initially an Auchanei Soulpriestess but willing to do just about anything to children of hers. However as she delved deeper and mastered this power; and briefly broke with the Illidari for putting the Orcs/Fel-Orcs under new management (She turbo hates Orcs), she returned to them during Legion to advise and help having by that point mastered much of the skill-set of a Warlock. But is currently using illusion magic to hide the side effects.
Mainly she saw the example of Demonhunters and Azeroth’s Warlocks fighting the Legion and using the powers for Good and fully ran with fighting fire with fire. But now is in a bind, it has left her radically changed. Two little ones also turning reddish so she isn’t sure what to do.
That is my current backstory in very basic outlines. But alas, left waiting to see exactly what Blizz does before I fully commit to the entire story.

Honestly the moment I heard that we were getting draenei warlocks I was excited. Didn’t play through the warlock class because I can make my draenei warlock be a complete eldritich abomination.
A fusion of Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne’s Manikin and Epic of Gilgamesh’s Humbaba/Huwawa with a touch of Teepo from Tales of Xillia. Oh, it’s going to be magical. She’s basically a construct that’s basically a bunch of Light forged Draenei parts stitched together with about maybe a thousand souls shoved into one body. So when she talks she convulses at odd times or even when she doesn’t talk. Eventually she’ll go berserk. But I want it to be the slow burn kind of thing. Give it a few months or when I feel bored.
