So apparently it’s impossible to progress the required quests to open up covenant stuff while a Kyrian assault is happening in the Maw due to a lack of phasing/other places you can do the quest in question. The enemies that should drop the Molten Anima don’t drop it anymore, and the enemies the game claims does drop it are entirely overpowered (since they are a part of Korthia stuff) and I’ve managed to (barely) kill 3 of them and didn’t get a single drop. They are also very difficult to pull without other stuff joining in.
This area should be phased if you have the aforementioned quest so that it is actually do-able.
