I want people to remember this quote if they actually succeed in bringing WoW to console.
This is my personal opinion and take it for what you will or simply ignore it and move on.
WoW has no business in being on console. Imagine the chaos that’ll ensue and the more constant hand holding that’ll have to happen.
Scenario 1: “Wah. My turn speed is to slow I couldn’t see the thing that killed me.” Solution: Should of bought/built a PC to play WoW.
Scenario 2: “Wah. This player is doing way more damage than me cause he’s on a pc.” Solution: Should of bought/built a PC to play WoW.
Scenario 3: “Wah. Player versus player is to complicated and chaotic and I can’t keep up on controller.” Solution: Should of bought/built a PC to play WoW.
I could go on but this post is already long enough as it is.
Do not go through with this. Not EVERYONE needs to play this game be it retail or classic or whatever. Games who try to be inclusive to everyone and anyone fall flat on their faces and usually end up in a ball of fire and ash, and Warcraft already has a bad history as it is.
I can only hope for the best.

Except WoW is a game for people who want to play a fantasy-based MMO-RPG. Shockingly, that’s not everyone!
Nah a game for everyone is a game for people who enjoy it.
Wow on console will be good. The more players the better.

The problem with that statement is that mmorpgs thrive with more players so the decisions have always been made in wow to make a game for everyone. There’s already people that have been playing on steamdeck and the onebutton (and I didn’t see much people oppose the one button) so I would say that we were always headed that way. Moreover being playable on console doesn’t mean it has to be super simple.

the wow pserves would be the only way. most mainstream (fantasy) mmo’s? Have been on console a while now.
Eve has no console client. there is that non pserver choice. But its also sci-fi, not fantasy.
