So far I’ve heard that the classic Aion server in Korea is still just a classic server. They haven’t added any P2W features on it and it is now 8 months old. Classic is being run by NCSoft not Gameforge like retail is. It also sounds like they’re maybe making a smarter move than Blizzard and actually adding a few changes. There doesn’t seem to be a #nochanges crew. The biggest difference is they’re making the leveling a little faster and removed a bunch of the buggy and old mechanics afaik.
I’ve already got an Asmodian character created on Siel and found what seems like a decent legion to launch with. Cleric named Devia if anyone plays and wants to group up!

Blizzard never OFFERED to create “whatever a bunch of players want”. So there is ZERO reason to expect Blizzard to create something just because a bunch of players say they want it.
Who told you “keep complaining and you will get what you want”? Whoever it was, go ask THEM to give you what you want.
Not sure where you went to school, but I am fairly certain you should be due a rebate for the mathematics portion of it.
Interesting to see that someone with a whole 3 posts has been elected the spokesperson for “99%” of the player base as well. I am quite happy to be in the one percent in that case.
It’s a well known fact that 82.376% of all statistics are pulled from the stinky orifice of the one quoting them so keep that in mind with his 99% comment.
on july 30th darrowshire will be releasing, which is a blizzlike vanilla private server. its sad that we have to resort to private servers, but blizzard knows exactly how to get our 15 dollars ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I believe the economy will get crushed regardless with a matter of time and folks speed running the game with max efficiency will still join in to race for first.
But there isn’t anything wrong with the second part and really that clamor to break into the world from all level 1 is really fun. I do hope in some way we get fresh servers with no transfers or boosting.
Have been wanting to reply to this thread since it was made. Resubbed for a month to jack around and already cancelled subscription again and told them would resub if fresh is released.
TBC was my favorite expansion and I had the best memories playing it. Was wishing they would release a fresh as I was not going to play a TBC where everyone had 20k+ gold carrying over as well as all t3. Everyone having epic flyers as they hit 70 and full crafted epic gear sounds terrible.
I guess here’s to hoping a fresh gets released here soon or as someone posted Darrowshire opening a fresh vanilla which isn’t as good as TBC but I just want a fresh experience again.
