A Formal Complaint about Hunter in 10.0

This is simply egregious Blizzard. This is low. Even for you
THIS IS A SLAP IN THE FACE.

The New Artwork for the Hunter Specializations shows Rexxar as a Survival Hunter!
He’s THE BEASTMASTER!
That was literally his unit name in WarCraft 3. The Orc Beastmaster.

You should be ashamed.

dude, from WC3: refunded we see how it is disrespectful to the true RTS franchise.

  • his heroes
  • his story
  • war
  • Design your characters and units.
  • the true world of Azeroth

All this corrupted by his new absurd image that has nothing to do with it.

Eliminate characters in the most cruel way like Arthas or Kael’thas (who was the first to destroy among Warcraft characters), mock them as it was with Tyrande and Sylvanas and eliminate everything that was as it was as it was with the Orcs grunts , Nelfs Archers and the Helfs Sorceresses.

All that was a spit on the Warcraft trilogy in RTS, and forgetting it is like making a WoW without a soul, an undead without emotions and roots that over time we will see that this expansion will not be like the Azeroth that we are supposedly returning.

You know, that does stand to reason… but I’ve actually always seen him as more of a Survival Hunter anyway. Idk, just his attitude and skillset.

I Think Rexxar has always been defined by his kinship with animals. He can practically speak to them.
I get that he’s also a Survivalist, but I have always veiwed him as first and foremost a Master of Animals.

Yeah, I can get that. I guess I’m just mad because he gets to multispec and we don’t.

He doesn’t actually do any beast master-ing, by the standards of WoW. He just uses Misha as extra white damage, not as an active part of his rotation.

topkek.
I feel that.

Rexxar for the most part is in the wilderness, surviving… pretty much not doing anything but surviving. Spends his time surviving. My guess would be toss up between survival and beast mastery, and wc3 was two decades ago.

Rexxar was labeled Survival in Legion when he was a follower.

You are literally years late.

He’s also survival. He literally teaches us survival in Legion. He’s apparently also classified as both in WoW and uses melee survival abilities with his beasts. As a major NPC, he can be everything.

He’s not even an Orc. He’s a half Orc. LOL

The Mok’nothal weren’t developed 20 years ago. But you’re right.
I do recall their being some dialogue about how Rexxar looks “More like an Ogre” though.

…they literally call him Mok’nathal in WC3, that’s where the term came from.

And yes, the grunts in Orgrimmar as well as the Stonemaul ogres remark on his half-heritage.

Do they? My mistake. I watched a friend play the Rexxar campaign just recently and mustve missed it.

Regardless. Rexxar’s race is entirely seperate from the fact that he is the Iconic beastmaster character. Moreso than any other NPC I can think of.

Maybe I’m biased by his campaign in WC3 (where Rexxar’s abilities can be divided into “Storm Bolt” and “trash”) but I never really saw the beast mastery as that important to him. Yes, they used the mercenary Beastmaster hero as his basis because that’s what was available, but he acts much more like a Conan-style brawler and war leader.

Anyway, this is all distracting from the real tragedy here: why don’t we get DW support for survival? :sob:

Because blizzard hates us and wants us to be miserable, and certainly no other reason.

Survival is basically melee beast mastery now.

And as much as I dislike that fact, You are correct.
