“hold on guys, don’t pull, i haven’t pre-buffed five gcds yet!!”
what is the reasoning behind this? yes it’s nice to have multiple auras going at once, but the process of getting them going feels clunky and slow. IMO this is largely due to the long-ish gcd you can have at times (1.3s+), so it really can take 6-8 seconds to get all of them up before you want to hit meta and max out your charges again. hitting the same ability repeatedly to continue stacking up a self buff is just not good or enjoyable gameplay.
there is a very simple way to fix this though, and it’s already coded into two of our abilities: fel rush and felblade. after using these abilities (why isn’t this in the tooltip? devs?? hello???), your next gcd is approximately cut in half. why not add this to immolation aura too? that way it would take half the time to get through our charges, and we wouldn’t have to deal with as much time going through that pre-buffing nonsense.

I wouldn’t sweat fire inside all that much, immo damage is probably going to take a nose dive next season due to the removal of AMN. Plus with unbound chaos no longer being a trigger for inertia, it’s value is probably reaching an end.
Extremely unfun talent, completely agree.
Feedback around this skill is to completely rework so it doesn’t take 18 GCDs.
It’s probably the only proc in the game in which it feels bad to get procs, lol.
One of the most liked proposed solutions is the following:
A Fire Inside changed from being a 30% chance to refund your charge of immolation aura to be a x% chance (30-40%) to cast a second immolation aura so it doesn't take up so much of your global economy when you actually high roll. Currently high rolling does not feel good and extends out the already long opener. Ideally also converts immolation aura to chaos damage, this talent needs significantly higher value to be worthwhile with Inertia no longer tied to immolation aura.

I agree, since dragon flight I’ve hated it’s redesign lol… I never take it because though it’s awesome to get RNG carried with 6 or whatever it feels terrible to spam it before a fight, I never use it ![:joy: :joy:](https://d38bqls1q93fod.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/joy.png?v=12)
Good, now rework the talent. Demon Hunter is full of stupid clunky gimmicky designs like this ![:face_exhaling: :face_exhaling:](https://d38bqls1q93fod.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/face_exhaling.png?v=12)

Current DH design is straight up terrible, DH is supposed to be fast and furious, not slow and contemplative. Press button, do damage. Right now we’re press button, press other button, press third button, do damage, all while making sure your positioning is spot on while simultaneously launching yourself forward as part of the rotation. It’s toxic.
Everyone who is currently on the DH team is screwing things up. Reset to BFA, tune as needed, delete movement for damage, ignore felhammer simps.

They buffed it Tuesday on PTR. A Fire inside now causes it to do chaos damage, it got a 6% damage buff also, they raised the crit damage from 25% to 30% also I believe which will affect Ragefire.
Yeah, the recent changes will make it more useful. It will still be really only an AoE build, it will be interesting to see what they have to give up to get it.
AFI is functionally the same, nothing has changed in terms of that.
On long proc strings you’ll be spamming the button for 3 hours.
The button isn’t better.
