A few suggestions for shaman dps specs

For elemental:

1: merge fire and storm elemental into one

2: Decouple the choice node between surge of power and aftershock, also, make surge grant you a buff for 2 abilities, if you press earth shock/ele blast it will buff your next lightning bolt and lava burst, one for each, if you use quake it will buff your next chain and lava burst, obviously the cdr on elemental will be adjusted due to the potentially stronger cd, and lack of opportunity cost due to the double buff with this suggestion.

3: Bring back windspeaker, and windspeaker lava burst procs also deal splash damage to up to 6 targets, generate more maelstrom and spread flame shock. No more liquid magma totem, it’s awful. Please, please if there is one suggestion you should really take into consideration it’s this one, lava burst is cool to use, it’s not nice that it’s essentially ignored in aoe, and liquid magma is just not it, it’s not a good ability.

4: Return primordial wave to how it used to be or properly change that ability so it doesn’t suck donkey.

5: It would be nice to have back the shadowlands conduit which had a chance to cast chain lightning when using quake.

Enhance:

1: Get rid of 2 talent nodes already, condense them into 1 talent investments, and instead fill back up with new talents.

2: Hot hand back at 8 sec please, 6 is fine, but 8 is just more fun.

3: Wolves need to be buffed, the problem is mostly the capstone, id say that the capstone should just be completely changed to provide secondary stats instead, 10% per wolf out, fire: crit, frost: mastery, storm: haste. This scales way better, it’s more fun, and it’s actually good.

4: Merge the 4 % proc chance from wolf bones into the base spec. Find something else for wolf bones, or just make flowing spirits the main option, the issue i see with wolf is that while it’s a really nice buff to keep up, the press itself isn’t particularly satisfying, you could increase the cdr to make it more competitive, but that would lead to many more key presses being used for wolves, which could get a little intrusive and not particularly nice in general.

5: Frost damage needs to be significantly better, hailstorm lacks damage, and msw generation, make frost shock count as main hit, and make hail stack up higher, i would say at least 20 stacks. This should be more than enough to make it good.

6: Decouple fire nova and hailstorm, fire nova cd is longer, but in return it really nukes those 6 targets it hits.

7: I would support a change to lashing flames to make it make flame shock hit faster rather than just hitting harder, if not, just remove it. It’s one of the least interesting talents in the tree.

8: Make totems float around you,. and be impossible to target, instead of being something you drop, aside capacitor totem and maybe a few others there is no reason to have totems be an annoyance. This would also be a significant qol change for totemic, the main thing i don’t like about that hero talent at this point is the totem itself, the mechanics are fine, the totem is bad.
