So Im levelling a character through MoP on Horde and did the whole Forest Hozen questline, at the enc of which I get to Exalted with them.
However, the reputation doesnt appear to do anything at all. There is no reward, it isnt listed as an Exalted reputation achievement nor is it apparently part of the 90/100 etc Reputation achievement. There is no quartermaster and nothing gained from doing it but the quest rewards. So my question is: why have a faction reputation if it doesnt actually…do anything???

It does unlock Grooking Hill, which used to be hostile (and had max-level guards) so trying to do the Pandarian candy buckets was rather dangerous. That’s about it though.

It’s more of a flavor thing. Since there is no grind or work involved, it’s just a token reputation you finish during their short storyline. Something that’s only there for fun and to emphasize you’re friends with these people now.

It will ook you in the dooker.
We’ve seen grummle souls in maldraxxus. We’ve seen sethrak souls. Where are the damn ookers? We could use some hozen abom dookin!
Hey, I think one of the next new races should be Hozen. Especially if some of their flavour text is available.
Althought, thinking about that, some of it is very…yknow…norty.

It got you a repair discount early in the expansion until you could build rep elsewhere. Penny pinchers didn’t need to hearth home.
lol no one wants hozen. everyone wants elves. MOAR ELVES MOARRRRRR
