Hello! If you are reading this, you are either looking for a raiding guild, or curious to learn more about Ethereal. Ethereal was formed during Vanilla on Vek’nilash, and has been through many transformations over the years. During Legion, our raiding roster dwindled and we made the hard decision to leave our home server. Since coming to Whisperwind we’ve found a lot of new blood and it has renewed our passion for raiding!
Our members are mainly adults with full-time jobs. This means the guild is mostly empty during the day, and activity picks up in the evening. We do try to keep guild chat, and our Discord, “family-friend… adjacent”. We frown on excessive cussing, or blatant vulgarity, but we also have a lot of fun (That’s what she said --Albert Einstein --Michael Scott).
We are a progression-oriented, casual guild. We raid two nights per week (Tuesday/Thursday), from 9pm to midnight server time (CST). We have many generous guild members who do their best to provide cauldrons and feasts for the entire guild, but we always ask each member to come prepared.
Recently, we have made the decision to push into Mythic raiding! Therefore, we need to recruit. We have a stable roster of about 12 members, with another 10 who are not able to commit to 100% attendance. We try to accommodate everyone’s schedules, because we understand real life sometimes needs to come first.
Here are our current recruiting goals:
1 healer - Our current roster consists of two priests, a paladin and a druid. We’d be happy to add a shaman or monk to the mix, but having an active raider is more important that a perfect comp!
1 hybrid healer - Druid/Shaman/Priest - this needs to be someone who prefers to be ranged dps, but is happy to heal if need arises
Ranged DPS - We are in need of hunters and shaman, but open to all classes.
We are pretty full on melee DPS at the moment. But don’t let that stop you from reaching out! We may have a spot open up (especially for a demon hunter or warrior) in the future. Even if you don’t join our Mythic team immediately, we’re always running Heroic for upgrades, practicing mechanics, or just to enjoy each other’s company.
