Is there any plan of merging lower population servers together? My realm has been a lower population realm for a while and we just had 4 guilds, on horde alone, transfer off the server. At this point the server is so dead that raiding guilds are having trouble recruiting new people because there is simply no one to recruit. Theres no one to level with, dungeon with, etc. At this rate we will be forced to move off the server within a few weeks, which will only make the population even worse.
It would be great to get a blue post with any information on the subject.
I mean I was on whitemane and I transferred off. When we came to this server it was dead but slowly got more populated and was was still a low/medium population server and I enjoyed the small community that formed, but now the server is so dead you just cant do anything. Id rather wait in a queue and have people to play with
They opened transfers and the server I am currently on filled up nicely. It has been good for the duration that classic has been out, but over time people quit or transfer off and over time it has just dwindled down. I’m just trying to find out if I need to transfer or if blizzard has intentions of merging the lower population servers
It would, and some have done that, but most have left the server already. There is really only 4 main guilds left and most are full or are very close to full. But there are no new people to recruit.
The issue with that is if it left theres only enough room for probably 10 people amongst the guilds. That would put a lot of people out of a guild. 4 guilds left the server already because there is no one to recruit
And I am fine with transferring but when you have people in the guild with multiple 60s its going to cost some people 50…75… some even 100$. It would be nice if they combined some servers sooner than later because they will have to do it anyway. Once our guild leaves it will be even harder for people to find groups and raid.
