After making so many Orcs and blood elves I thought to try something different. After work today I will make a Draenei Priest Character but I am unsure which concept would fit the best here. Should I go for a Auchenai Death Priest or a normal and generic Anchorite? The choices are hard since Blizzard really did alot with Draenei culture in many way. I need some help.

Honestly both sound too standard issue for my taste.
But the death priest is at least a little less generic so go with that one.
Just level both, you hit max level in like 3 days now anyway.
You could also do a lightforged draenei if you want some flavor or more options.

The Auchenai had a good amount of lore dumped into them with Warlords of Draenor. The order was largely defunct in our main timeline but has had an offscreen revival with the Draenei heritage armor quest.
Priests as spirit guides and wardens of the dead is probably my favorite take on the class, and I really love the protector/defenders. They’re like WoW’s spin on WH40k’s Dreadnaughts.
The current warrior tier set resembles them a bit, too.
The whole idea of Auchendoun as a repository for souls to keep them from The Legion has an Eldar Craftworld vibe to it.

To answer your troll question, Id go for a vulpera.
I would have to say All I have ever done is the Shaman and paladin every time I make one of those. Red version looks okay but yea. Then the blacker type version is very good matches so well with pally because when you go for the contrasting opposite theme the black purple eyes white rhobes casting Holy spells looks so neat.
Ditch these existing roleplay elements, form your own.
I like the idea of playing an Exodar crash survivor though, so maybe a Priest acolyte was onboard but then she tended to the wounded after the crash, further developing her healing abilities and spurring on the adventure throughout azeroth.
are you gonna play shadow or a healing spec? soulpriests are a fun concept to play with. its a way to play shadow that isn’t the boring old god blaaaah concept blizz went with around legion. get the toy that lets you summon shadow ravens, it looks sick as:
