Hello Guild Recruitment forum!

Do The Roar is looking for some more raiders to fill out our roster for Sepulcher of the First Ones and beyond.

Raid Time: Friday/Saturday 10:30PM-1:30AM EST

ABOUT US

We’re a bunch of goofs that never forget that this is a game first. Our goal is to have fun playing with friends while making our way through content at our own pace. We buckle down and get serious when progression calls for it, but we still laugh at our silly mistakes as we re-buff for the next pull.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for players with an interest and a passion for raiding. We strongly believe in recruiting the player instead of the class, and we’re looking for a person who will fit into our weird little family instead of aiming solely for classes to fit the comp. Ideally you come to raid prepared for an evening of potential frustration and learning, armed with a willingness to accept criticism and a mind open to trying new things, as well as the things coming to raid prepared usually means (potions, oils, etc.) Sense of humor a must.

WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN US?

We’re small and growing, so you won’t be thrown into a mess of a roster with dozens of people you may never interact with. We aim to keep that sense of close-knit community even as we grow, which means we won’t be adding members simply for the sake of adding members but because we feel like the new addition will be a welcome part of the community and the team.

CURRENT NEEDS

Good people. Send me a message and we’ll talk; right now we are looking to recruit DPS, but we love players who can flex into other roles when needed. But really go ahead and reach out if this interests you, we might be able to shuffle some parts around for the right fit.

Do you have any specific roles that you’re looking to fill? I understood ‘the player, not the class’ but a group would only need so many tanks or healers, or somewhat balanced group of mdps/rdps. Not trying to be a smartass, just asking for clarification

Right now there’s a lot of musical chairs being played because of the impending expansion, so it’s kind of a free-for-all. We have two tanks at the moment, but one will be switching to DPS in DF and the other is perfectly willing to swap out if a dedicated tank shows up. We have 1 healer I can say with 100% certainty will be healing in the expansion, the rest are flexible. So we realistically are looking to have a conversation with anyone interested.
