So, there I was unlocking D.I.Dwarves, minding my own business, when the goblins kick down the door.
Now I figure, big whoop, it’s goblins. Time to do the WoW thing. But then I noticed something disturbing: Despite having a rivalry with the gnomes:
Goblins are the size of Dwarves
Why are they so big? Did anyone else ever notice this? Am I just crazy for thinking those clearly handsome/sensual green monsters were smaller than that?

well yea why do you think vulpera are so big, they are using the goblin skeleton. if you use a darkmoon seesaw or a shrink ray or shrinking potion you will become the size of a gnome
Models can be scaled though, so I’m used to Vulpera seeming larger.
Also the only time I ever see a Vulpera I’m usually trying to kill it so I bever really measure

This appears to be an in game thing and not exactly the intended vision of goblins lorewise.
As every other medium be it hearthstone, heroes, and official wow art, Goblins are the same height as Gnomes.
I can’t post images, if a trust level 3 could help out.

What disturbs me more is that the other day I noticed when my Goblin is running he looks like he has a load in his shorts.

Vulpera look so cute when they run! It’s like they’re on a mission to get things done.

Always annoyed me female goblins were taller than male goblins.

Not really. Look at the poster art for “Goblins vs Gnomes.”
I never really thought about it but the goblin, when hunched over, is still a little taller than the gnome

dude you should make one of each clasa and look at all thier unique features for the classes, the dev team really put alot of work into making sure all the animations look so good with the tail and face fluff and the way thier muzzles and paws work
i literally cant play another race because they just look so much better than all the other races

I remember reading somewhere that Goblins breed a lot lorewise.
Brood races tend to have larger females for that reason.
Lorewise, Goblins are between Dwarves and Gnomes. For males, gnomes average 3’6, Goblins average 3’11, and Dwarves average 4’8. For females, gnomes average 3’4, Goblins average 4’1, and Dwarves average 4’6.

Reminds me of when I first started playing. Rolled up this draenei, went from zone to zone, questing with draenei, then with the night elves questing down Kalimdor. It was an adventure!
Then I ended up at the first human settlement and I stood next to the human quest giver and realized I couls use him as an arm rest!
Crazy times.
