Where are all of the wizard hats? We should have a wizard hat for every occasion by now, blizzard. The lack of legitimately good/cool wizard hats is why you’re losing so many subscribers. Less goofy edgeboi hoods and delicate tiaras and more pointy hats. For the love of God.

Exactly, man. If Blizzard were even remotely interested in High Fantasy instead of turning all of the Gods and Dieties into constructs and robots maybe people would be more willing to stick around. A nice variety of cool Wizard hats would show the player base they Blizzard cares about High Fantasy again, and not this blatently sci-fi direction the game is headed.

Prob cause a lot of different designs end up reminding people of a terrible group of racists.
I don’t like that aesthetic. It’s like… typical fairy tale stuff, or… Harry Potter. Not my ting.
the irony is that this game was made with the idea of removing as much roleplaying from everquest as possible, because they were angry how little raiding mattered there.
i blame the people that keep removing it along with their robes.

I blame Blizzard. We have not gotten a straight up OG Gandalf headass Wizard Hat model in the game since WoD and that one utterly sucks.

New Kara has a newer wizard hat that drops from the wicked parody fight in the opera, Uses the updated Halloween hat model.
It’s a bit of a pain to farm with it being on a random rotation but I’m pretty sure it’s mogable since I remember farming it on my mage.
Same place as all the missing more basic appearances. For some reason they stopped adding most stuff like that in Vanilla/TBC, instead preferring overdesigned appearances.

Most of the typical wizard hats are low level stuff. Although there is the crafted cata cloth gear with a wizard like appeal.
not me, i wish they would let me mog my robe and wizard hat so i dont have to keep putting it on.
There’s three or four from Legion, a few Vanilla ones and one or two from Hallow’s End.

There’s already a couple models in game for classic pointy hats.
I just don’t understand why they can’t open up the color scheme on them and stick them on a “common” gear vendor.
More mage hats, please.
