I just did the whole kyrian story line. It seemed so easily for those kyrian to turn corrupt I’m surprised it just took Uther’s refusal to cooperate for the whole thing to fall apart. It is like out of all the countless souls from countless world to go to Bastion, none of them challenged the process until now? I wonder if no one questioned it was because there was a steady flow of anima into the Shadowlands and maybe anima acts like a type of drug that clouds their minds and pacifies them? Because it doesn’t seem like anyone one was questioning their role in the afterlife until the drought started. Now everyone wants to be free and do their own thing. Even the people that locked up the Jailer are saying they need to let him about. I wonder if the Jailer was originally opposed the whole idea of sending souls to different realms to preform tasks for eternity that they never asked for and was imprisoned for trying to stop it?

I wish Blizzard put more thought into it than you did. The simple reason for the above is that “Blizzard said so” and there is no logical basis for their sudden turn in behaviour.
