Now that DF is out, and our hearths set on new lands unless I missed something the only way back to our coven is a zzzz flight from Oribos. Its pretty annoying if you are doing so with multiple characters as those minutes add up fairly fast. Even a portal still takes a few steps as you need to get to oribos to begin with.
During the expansion it was understandable we didnt have anything, as 95% of us were already setting our hearth there. The content was focused around it, so it was only logical. However the content has obviously shifted, does the defeat of the jailer not earn these champions a portal back to their covens as they move on to new lands and challenges? Rather then relegating them back to peons who need to take public transport if they wish to check in on their old stompin’ grounds!
For the love of old content can we finally get coven portals in oribos, or just make the hearthstone cosmetic an actual hearth as has been requested from day 1?

Yeah, I’m all for this. You should be able to talk to the head person for a quick quest that’s basically:
You: “Yo, I have to go now. Jailer’s dead, and something about dragons. Sounds important.”
Them: "You will always be in our hearts, here’s a hearthstone to prove it!
You: “Another one?” /Shrug and add it to the collection.
Them: “Come back to visit literally any time!”
You: “kthanx byeee”
Besides, you can always use another hearthstone. Who doesn’t like more hearthstones? Logistics is fun!

Did they remove your ability to earn the portal, because you get one if you play the game?
I have one on my first 60, but not made one yet on my 2nd 60. Few more days and I will have it. If I can still earn the portal.
Where does one learn the ability to portal to your Covenant hall from anywhere?
They’re not going to make it easier for players to play Shadowlands. They want them playing Dragonflight.

There should have been a portal to and from as soon as you opened it.

My DK has a bunch of portals in the room on left as you go into it.
I paid like 10k of Anima plus lost soles to get it. Most of the portals are for home areas, but one is for Oribos city.
That portal is from then Covenant to oribos, not the other way around. It should be both ways but it never has been. As far as I know they have not added anything new with the XP, so the only way back once you change your hearth is a flight to either the coven directly or one of the unlocked fast travel locations across the map, all of which still require the boring slow flight from Oribos onto the map.

OP is talking about going TO the Covenant hall. Not leaving it.

I can tell you for me personally, having to waste 30 minutes a day flying in and out of each coven to finish mission board progress on my 6 shadowlands mains as I tie up the lose ends, that not having this ability will make me spend twice as much time away from dragonflight, that i would if i could just pop in and bang out what I need in a few minutes and leave. Now, since i have to take the extra effort/time to get there, I figure I mine as well stay a little longer and do another task to save on a future trip.
As long as people are playing, regardless which content, its a good thing for the world as it keeps people spread out and makes it appear much more alive.
I just hope someone with blizzard see posts like this and understands that it in no way hurts current content to appease us peons with things like this.
