A couple of suggestions for Dragon Flight

  1. Make it to where you can abandon all quests in a given zone, instead of having to do it one at a time. I realize that this is not going to be useful all the time, but it will really appreciated every time a new expansion comes out and you log onto an alt that has a quest log full of old quests from the previous expansion.

  2. Add Movement Speed to the character sheet. PLEASE. It is very silly that we can get stats in this game that can’t be tracked by the default interface.

The second one you can already do! Deja Character Stats is an excellent add-on.

Add weapon sets, it’s well past time we stopped hunting down MH/OH. Just make it simple and use the legion weapon set system for all weapons going forwards.

You already can abandon all quests in a given zone lol

I still get this one at times form BG and LFR:

People love to share. . . .

Ah, number 2.
I remember when they changed the character panel UI. So bad.

As for number 1, sadly we live in a world where “do not consume raw chicken” labels exist on chicken breast packaging. The amount of people that would wipe out a zones worth of quests, and then complain about it is just not worth it.

I think this is fine for Rogues and Warriors, but I would not want to be linked like this as a caster or tank.

Yes it was sad. It’s why I use the add-on now.

Might be easier to just make a checkbox for mass abandon quests. I say that because there may be some quests we want to hold onto. Be a pain if you were doing a chains worth of quests and it happens to also be from the zone you started and you ended up wiping it off the face of Azeroth for it.

As for the stats, you can get a addon for a customizable, OG stats list of your character. DejaCharacterStats is what it is called. Although I am more annoyed that a lot of us WANT this because Blizzard think these stats are pointless to look at… At the very least they can allow us what the addon does for us.

As a VDH… I very very much do. I’m sick and tired of having to farm Off hands. As a caster it sucked too because you were often stuck in a bad place holding onto a MH/OH you couldn’t use that took up inventory forever until you got a staff or better one to hold inventory space. Just… no, let’s go to a system where weapons take up one slot in inventory and that’s it.

Oh my God, please. I spent seven months hunting for a MH for an OH I got week one of S3 and only ever got a staff in the final weeks of the tier.

And I disagree. There are different stats and people may wish to mix and match those. I also do not wish to be stuck with things that cannot be transmogged as I see fit. If there is no off hand, then transmog is a serious issue. Some sort of Artifact weapon coding would have to somehow be implemented on new things and what would happen to old things?

To me, this is not a game to streamline gearing, it is an RPG and should remain treated as such.

I just read a thread that said this addon secretly supports women. Idk if that’s a path people need to be walking, probably a poor recommendation there. Too many clicks and they might try to take their burkas off.

The creator added a few links to support groups at the bottom of the stat listings during the sexual misconduct issues at Blizzard to support the employees at Blizzard. They are easily unchecked and turned off. That thread is simply a hyperbolic drama cesspool.

Old things are old things, they continue to function as is. Everything else uses the artifact weapon set system minus the borrowed power tree garbage.

It’s an MMO, blizz messed up making us retire artifact weapons. This is because weapons determine way too much player power to be left to chance and some classes/specs just flat out get shafted because of how loot works. If you want to play an old school RPG fine, but in a MMO things need to make sense from a relative power perspective or people will get benched. But you’re playing on a classic alt so it’s clear where your preference lies.

Regardless these issues were fixed before during legion. I think it’s too important not to fix now because otherwise dagger rogues and other classes that are forced into specific weapon types just get screwed by the system.

How does an empty spot function?

Transmog for artifacts is much different than regular transmog coding.

It’s an MMORPG and this is how weapons have been prior to and after Legion. Not everyone enjoyed the awkward nature of artifact weapons.

There were not so many problems in BfA and not so many complaints because gear drops were better handled. That is what needs fixed, to me.

LOL, sorry ROFL. I can’t laugh hard enough at this. If you wanted to play rogue and you didn’t want to play outlaw? You were SCREWED and screwed HARD. Blizz did NOTHING for them or for DH’s.

Sorry but that’s just flat out wrong. If you play a spec that uses weapons specific to your spec you are FUBAR in this game right now unless you class stack which leads to the degenerate behaviors you see in mythic raiding.

Please stop with this old tired garbage trope, FF14 is more of an MMORPG than wow is and it has weapon sets except for paladin shields. It works just fine.

Go equip your old Legion weapons, they get filled in and are moggable… Just like they were then.

I had no issues on my Demon Hunter with weapons in BfA. Loot dropped often enough that slots were able to be filled.

I can see you are not capable of a mature conversation. Enjoy your day.

I am not aware of this, and as far as I can tell it is not true.
The last thing I want to do is say “You’re wrong and don’t know what you’re talking about.” and then find out I am the one who is wrong, so… Do you mind explaining how?

Obviously if you can do this, my suggestion is not needed, but again, if I’ve played the game for 17 years and can’t figure it out, it could probably be improved on.

I already run this addon. In fact, there are other addons that provide that information as well.
However, I think you missed the point. No one should have to run this addon to get basic information.
Addons should enhance the play experience.
Not provide information that is missing.
It is baffling that in a game with RPG elements, you can get a stat that you can’t track in the default UI.

Blizzard is taking steps to improve the UI in Dragon Flight.
This would do that.

You might be correct, it may be an addon that I have that allows me to do it. When I open my log, quests are separated by zone and each zone name has a button next to it like this :no_entry_sign: that lets me abandon all. Not sure which addon it is unfortunately as I have like 200 lol
