A cheat sheet of UI improvements that I allow blizzards to steal

Since my last post about questioning players’ reliance on add-ons got MASSIVE hate, I will just make a list of UI improvements that Blizzards absolutely should consider for their once in a decade quality of life update.
Oh and I’m posting everything from PvP arena player’s perspective.

  1. Better nameplates.
Plater add-on was a huge game improvement for me and I think devs should aim for something like that.

  2. Pets should be distinguishable from players and give option to disable pets from ‘next target’.
Sometimes I just don’t understand if this an enemy player or is it their pet or who is this. Because everything happens so fast and you look at the screen and these pets have exactly the same size as players, the exact same textures and the same nameplates (I know you can disable them) - I get confused personally.

  3. Make a visual clue for when a player is immune to CC.
I will be honest I haven’t been playing this game for 20 years like most of you so I don’t have the encyclopedia knowledge of every class. With that said it’s really hard to tell when someone has a buff that makes them immune to CC. For example, apparently shaman is CC immune under tremor totem. I couldn’t tell by looking at shaman that they are immune to crowd control somehow.
Classes aside, when a player gets cc’ed too much they receive a buff that makes them more and more resistant to CC and there is absolutely no way to tell that it’s in effect.

  4. Make a visual separation between allies and enemies in PvP.
I can’t tell the difference sometimes. And I think it’s a super easy fix. Just give an option to turn a red/green aura on players.

  5. It should be easier to tell who targets whom.
WoW is an old game and players get blended with the environment so it can be a hot mess sometimes in PvP that’s why I’m really not sure how to implement something like that but I sure wish I had more knowledge who targets me, who my teammates target and which of my teammates is a target. As healer my only way to tell is mostly by looking at HP bars and I feel like it shouldn’t be this way. And sometimes I see enemy casts something facing the opposite direction or looking sideways and somehow it was targeting me. Not sure how that works.

So these are my top 5 I would say. And before you start posting yours “umm actually this is unnecessary. And, honestly? You’re unskilled ”, please post your suggestions for UI improvements instead so the developers will see it and implement it with 0.001% chance. Let’s positivity and understanding in this community.
