I’m experiencing an issue that didn’t occur before. On the first login, when I turn the character using the A and D keys, the character turns very slowly. After logging out and logging back in (on the same character or another), the problem disappears.
This is quite inconvenient as it adds an extra step to access the game properly. Also, this doesn’t depend on the character.
For now you can use this script to reset it.

Copy and paste that into a macro. One button press on log in, if it doesn’t stick.
Solved: Deleted cache and wtf folders and fixed for while
Not sure why everyone is saying this is so hard to do or not quick, copied the console turn speed XXX of my choice of speed in the macro, boom done. Can change it easily now in the future!! Ty for this

Much easier to solve the problem permanently deleting folder. Doesn’t change anything in game settings.
The work doing a macro is similar to the work to delete folders and also don’t need to any extra action like clicking every login
Deleting the Cache and WTF folders do change in game settings especially if you have add-ons. You basically did most of a full UI reset.
I’m glad it worked for you and didn’t mess everything up (I’m assuming you don’t use add-ons and have a default UI) but it’s a much more pain to fix for a lot of people if they delete those folders and don’t know what it causes.
Not especially, but exclusively. I got no difference in UI while no add-on.
How about fixing this instead of me needing to do college level searches and paste a macro every time i log in? While you are at it, please also fix the 3rd hotbar moving every time i log in as well. It keeps appearing in the top left, and just opening edit mode moves it to its correct spot. Yes both of these have simple resolutions… but the point is it should be fixed… especially considering the hotbar glitch has been happening for an entire patch and for months now.

i’ve read that this issue is coming from using the mech suit on siren isle. Hopefully they fix this soon
