I can’t finish the quest and I go so far like number 2 and then it stops then number 1 and it stops . Now I can’t even get the first test to spawn

Having the same issue, cant find a solution
Same ongoing problem here. Went and failed at test three, test two, test three, and never had that mob spawn.
Super late reply here, but I came looking for a solution. With only 12 days left of Remix, if anyone else is still having issues with this quest, here is what I found works: unequip all tinker gem slots and then kite the mob for a few seconds before attacking. This seemed to reliably work for me on all my characters.
I think there’s just too much dps with Remix toons and if it dies too quickly with the NPCs still talking, it bugs out and doesn’t register it dying.
