Again, I never said it was explicitly allowed or not, nor did I claim it was cheating or exploiting. Regardless of what people want to call it, many players take issue with full premades facing pugs because, objectively, it’s an unfair matchup.
You’re citing a single dev comment from 2007 saying it wasn’t an exploit, but you’re also ignoring when Blizzard has taken actions that contradict that stance. When they broke the oQueue addon in WoD, Blizzard also explicitly stated that full premades stomping pugs wasn’t good sportsmanship and that players already had structured outlets for premade play, like wargames and rated battlegrounds.
You gotta ask yourself, if this was truly fine and fair, why hasn’t Blizzard just allowed full raid groups to queue into battlegrounds outright? If silence from Blizzard means approval, then why did they remove raid-group queueing all the way back in vanilla?
Bottom line—there’s a reason players keep bringing this up, and there’s a reason Blizzard has intervened in the past. Whether you personally think it’s okay or not, people clearly want it addressed.
If everyone were to queue sync, drop queues, and dodge to get favorable matchups, there would be almost no properly balanced battlegrounds popping. Saying “just do it too” is a complete non-solution—it doesn’t address the actual issue. Instead, it would create a cycle where games start severely imbalanced or don’t start at all because multiple groups are constantly requeuing to avoid each other or secure easier matchups. The game is meant to be played with friends, sure, but not at the expense of fair matchmaking
Like I did bgs back in DF with a 4-5 man and we won something like 400 matches in a row so idk how ebg groups ever manage to lose even a single game it just shouldn’t be possible
It’s just punchin down on people without gear or keybinds.
They find a way. Considering that lots of these players have negative win/loss records in regular bgs it’s unsurprising they still find ways to lose. It’s also funny that they mostly ignore doing 10 and 15 man bgs because they aren’t lopsided enough for them.
Never has been, never will. No such thing as “balanced” when blizz cant even balance classes. There is nothing fair in warfare or a battle. Yall expect these perfect matches. They do not exist.
You’re intentionally misrepresenting my point… And it’s making you look like a clown.
Obviously perfect balance in PvP doesn’t exist, and no one is expecting that. The issue is that random battlegrounds are meant to have random matchmaking, where teams are formed organically based on whoever queues at the time. Sync queuing completely disrupts that by letting premades stack the odds in their favor, turning what should be a mix of players into coordinated groups steamrolling pugs.
If you think “nothing is fair in warfare,” then why even have matchmaking at all? Why not just let full raids queue in a battleground if Blizzard was totally fine with this? Probably because they know it’s not fair or fun for anyone on the receiving end.
Just me and my 39 friends whom I don’t do anything with except premade ebgs because we all spam lose at 1600 year after year despite playing for decades.
It sure was, until greedy people like you started exploiting the queue system and turned it into the broken mess it is now—all because you couldn’t handle losing.
