A lot of information has been thrown around recently regarding the current BG issues, both solo rated and random epic - there is definitely something (or what appears to be, a multitude of things) going on. Given the many moving parts and possibilities, its impossible for us as a community to identify on our own - we really need a blue to address this issue and for blizzard to actively investigate what is going on and take action to restore balance to BG games.
From bots, to addons that allow for que cheating, to win-trading premades - Blizzard are silent on the issue and we need a blue response to clarify what is happening and their plans to address it
They did in like… 2007 I believe… players can que together.
Now as far as Bots and actual cheating… yeh that needs to be fixed. The bots are out of control and def some serious cheating with scripts and other bs with interrupts going on. But lets be real… blizz doesnt care about pvp.
not responding is a response. SOME people think by bombarding the forums with their feelings it will force blizzard to give in like a single mother on a budget listening to their spoiled child whine about luckycharms every time they’re shopping.
no means no sweetie now what kind of juice box do you want for your lunch?
You’re being intentionally dense… people aren’t talking about standard 5 man premade groups, obviously those are allowed. The issue is with players syncing multiple 5-man groups to bypass the limit, repeatedly dropping and requeuing until they land in the same battleground.
The problem has only gotten worse now that there are addons that’ll assist in that process, going as far as warning them when another enemy community is in the battleground so they can drop and requeue.
allowing premades to queue as a raid instead of having to sync
You don’t have to sync – you’re choosing to do it to circumvent group-size limits. The easy solution would just be to disband premade communities by enforcing the 5-player limit.
I never said it was or wasn’t explicitly allowed (just that it was an issue), but I also haven’t seen an official statement from Blizzard outright saying it’s permitted either. What people keep linking are just assumptions—inferring that Blizzard is fine with it simply because they haven’t taken action.
If I remember correctly, Blizzard broke the addon oQueue in WoD because it automated the sync queue process, and at the time, they stated that syncing full premades against pugs wasn’t good sportsmanship. We’re seeing a very similar situation now with the Community Flare addon, which helps premades dodge other groups and coordinate sync queues even more efficiently. Just because Blizzard hasn’t cracked down on it (yet) doesn’t mean it’s an intended or fair system.
I insisted on many posts and comments, I even tried to communicate with some dev on Twitter, my conclusion is that the pvp retail devs have been on vacation since the expansion began and they put 1 intern inexperienced to fix classes alone.
“Complaining about cheaters makes you a child.”
Sweet response.
Literally everyone knows that if you could queue as a raid that the cheating premade groups would quit. They aren’t looking for competition. They want to stomp pugs.
As Inemia said, it is allowed… Blue post on Dec 31, 2007 from Tyren, its not an exploit to enter the queue at the same time using voice chat or another communication method. Someone posted it before. Yall need to literally find some friends and que together. The game was made to play with friends to socialize, fight together.
No, they’re acquaintances. They’re people in the same community as you. You just refer to them as “friends” to make it seem like the entire point of premades is to socialize – and it’s not.
