Was just in Dalaran (Legion) and noticed that Aerith Primrose (just outside of Violet Hold) has another npc near her named Koraud .
Why does a flower vendor need a body guard? I think she probably sells other sorts of flower that are not listed on her menu.

Sometimes you get a bodyguard because your aunt’s friend’s 28 year old son needs his first job for the resume

Special connections within Dalaran.

I believe that is a FF7 reference! The game has a flower girl named Aerith (Aeris) with the main protagonist being a merc named Cloud, who through roundabout circumstances is ‘hired’ to be her bodyguard.
I can’t think of a good joke answer, so a serious one it is.

Oh there’s a funny story behind it

He’s a merc, you see. She hired him to be her bodyguard until she gets home, then he’ll move on to reunite with his colleagues, Teafah and Bearit of Snowfall.

One of my favorite quotes from Baldur’s Gate seems to apply here.
Aerith Primrose: “I’m no angel, but I’ve spread my wings a bit.”

Picking flowers is a dangerous job.
I’m pretty confident in saying everyone here died at least once picking flowers.

That’s between me and my body guard

Nope. He was a lousy bodyguard, too. She was impaled by Sephiroth’s super long katana.
So will Xal’atath’s final form only have one wing?
