Can’t see the NPC …nobody can…
Honestly, this is really ridiculous. I don’t understand why there’s just so many bugs lately, this one is really frustrating.
Well today LFR last wing came open and we can kill Fry …but what about those that killed him on normal did they see the NPC or not?
Same here, either it’s bugged or someone in charge of adding quests messed it up
Someone in normal forums post about this just posted they killed Fyrakk in LFR and now they can see NPC to turn in the quest.
Ah okay, guess I’m running lfr then lmao
Edit; It does require a Fyrakk kill. I don’t think this quest was supposed to show up for people who haven’t killed him yet.
As of today, killing Fyraak shouldn’t be a requirement to finish chapter 7. It’s a bug.
I’ve tried abandoning the quest and restarting it multiple times. I feel the cinematic should be longer then what I’m seeing. with no addons running all I see is Alexstraza opening her eyes and them turning yellow and thats all
I just got done killing the last boss Fyrakk,I first turned in quest the Dreams hope one then I went too were to turn in this one and can see the NPC now…
I managed ot get it completed. I had ot kill farrack in LFR, then completely abandon the quest and pick it up again for it to work
that shouldn’t be the solution. Too bad that this isn’t tested and found in-house.
If the raid kill is required it should be a required quest. I am hoping this is a bug and is fixed soon, as the raid kill is annoying for those whose don’t raid regularly.
So, I killed Fyrakk, then got the quest, no place to turn it in, abandoned, killed him again, still no place to turn in, so do I need to abandon, kill him a THIRD time then pick up the quest?
SLightly annoying to say the least but fortunately no shortage of LFR runs.
I give up.
I’ve already handed in the quest to kill the bad guy.
I’ve killed the bad guy 3 times now and this quest is not able to be handed in.
I’m done.
This didn’t work for me.
EDIT: Completing the quest to kill Fyrakk seems to have fixed this quest for me.
I thought they said that this quest was going to open up even if you haven’t killed him or done the raid? Or was that just the Mandela effect because I’m not the only one who said this. I mean I’ll keep it in my quest log for as long as I could, but I can’t do the raid right now and why are they giving it? If you need to go into the raid shouldn’t it be in the raid or after you finish the raid? It doesn’t make any sense that as it’s just for people who kill that boss.
Yeah I thought I was going crazy, I’ve logged on and off and done everything I could think of but no Merithra to be found just a marker on the mini map where she is suppose to be a shield with a questionmark and a gaggle of people standing around hoping she materializes to turn the quest in.
Chiming in to say the same. There is no requirement to kill Fyrakk listed in the quest, just that it needs to be turned in at Merithra’s location. She is not showing up for me or multiple other people. I have tried reloading, relogging, dropping then retaking the quest, watching the cutscene, skipping the cutscene, and nothing has seemed to fix it. I don’t raid, so I’m not going to be able to kill Fyrakk, but if he is required for it, it should be listed in the quest.
I agree 100%. I am just waiting for Blizzard to fix it, or at least tell us you don’t have to kill him to get it. To me it’s exactly what you said. It doesn’t say you have to kill him in the quest and why would they have it available to us who have never even stepped foot in the raid if it was required to do the raid first? I believe it is a bug in my opinion. Right before the hot fixes you had to kill him to even see the quests. Now we see them even if we didn’t do the raid. At least up to that point where she isn’t showing up.
After killing Fyrakk and after completing A Blossom Witnessed, I encountered several other bugs from yesterday’s hotfix. Like: the flightmaster in Loamm no longer having any connecting flightpaths to the surface, not being able to complete the Kirin Tor manasaber riding quest in Suramar because you are ejected from the mount after riding over each mana pool on the road as if having competed the World Quest. I tried relogging after the Loamm flightmaster, and thereupon discovered that the Battlenet client stayed at “<1 Min” for the better part of 15 minutes. This was remedied by closing and relaunching the Bnet client. Others commented in general chat that they were having problems starting or completing the quest even after having killed Fyrakk and turning in the associated quest.
Fixed as of today’s hotfix.
