The final feather for this quest line has a phasing issue. if you are Horde with a Shipyard on your garrison you can’t see the feather to click on it. My Alliance character and Horde character without a shipyard could get the feather without an issue.

It doesn’t work if you group with an alliance character. Also doesn’t work if you group with someone without a shipyard and enter their garrison. Also doesn’t work if you party sync with someone without a garrison at all if they’re not on the quest. In this case while you do not phase the feather isn’t there.

good to know other ways it doesn’t work. hopefully this can be hot fixed because I really want to get this all done on one character

i got it, but you need to fly fast enough and click before you phase out
I was also able to get it by flying in and clicking very quickly. It took a bunch of tries though.
Impossible to do on a steam deck. Imagine being a programmer or designer, and not testing your code. Absolutely inexcusable mistake in programming to be honest.

I was lucky that a number of hoardies figured this bug out on my server and were inviting old-timers like me who had a fully decked out Garrison. This should have been addressed, or placed in a position not affected by your personal garrison…

Someone was kind enough to invite and synced but it wouldn’t let me loot the feather and then the feather disappeared. I will try after they fix this but when I went back to my garrison it wasn’t there. lol but the shipyard is still there.
I’m not even seeing it pop at all on an Alliance character.
not seeing it at all as a horde toon . im in the right spot and its completly different than the videos show
Somebody was kind enough to invite me to phase and while I could see the feather, when I clicked it all I got was a message “no loot” and no progress on the quest. Yet another thing that would be caught with even the slightest hint of QC.
Update: rebooted my PC and logged back in. Still couldn’t click the feather, but somehow after flying away to phase out of Garrison and flying back to try to click it before phasing back in, it auto-completed and gave me the item and credit. No idea why or how that worked.
I wonder if the devs did a lazy hotfix making it so that you get completion credit for “meh, close enough”, rather than attempting to disentagle the phasing issues.
And again I see blizz is monitoring these pages, as there their protocal to fix issues lol.
I’m experiencing this same bug. The feather phases out no matter how quickly I fly in to grab it. I have to float a good distance away from the feather’s location just to be able to even see it appear.
Wouldn’t it be nice if new content was tested before it was pushed live?

Ok so everyone just got booted, once we logged back in the feather appeared for everyone. Maybe they just fixed it?

I’m still trying to get the one ion Nagrand. Can’t see it no matter what I do
I was able to get both of the ones I couldn’t see when I put my thinking cap on…no idea why that worked but it did!

Alliance toon (no garrison on THIS toon, but did do most WOD back in the day) - can’t see the 4th feather either, no matter what I try. The answer I got to my ticket was they are aware of the issue and are investigating… though why they couldn’t just send the item to people in the mail (at least those that actually filed a ticket) I have no idea. Guess we’ll have to wait and see what they decide and just do something else in the meantime.

So a fix soon? We’re stopped dead in our tracks because of this and can’t progress. JUST MOVE THE DANG FEATHER OUT OF OUR GARRISON BOUNDARY ALREADY!
