A 90 dollar mount!? What are we doing here?

Very concerned in the direction the game is going in (most in 20 years). The raw utility of having a mailbox and AH at all times for 90 dollars is borderline P2W. I understand there was one in BFA that costed an absolute absurd amount of G and very few players got it, but still. 90 dollars is absurd for the typical laborer that prob plays this game - it is was purely cosmetic whatever, but an AH at all times is a massive boost to power imo.

How? It takes like a minute to get to an AH.

The game has been officially P2W since the release of the token. Anything short of removing that doesn’t really matter.

It’s a mount.

ZERO character power comes from this, it isn’t pay to win. That’s a huge stretch.

I think you’d be surprised on what the average income is for the typical player. I wouldn’t be surprised if the AVERAGE player is in their 30s making at least 60k/yr.

So it was okay for people to buy hundreds of dollars worth of tokens/gold to buy the already existing one?

For the sake of argument that the new store mount is a boost to anything, it would at best be an advantage in terms of cornering/manipulating certain mats/items/etc., but at the end of the day, that only affects how much gold the person makes, and gives ZERO character power, at least considering that the wow token exists [e.g., there is no point to farm gold if you can afford wow tokens, outside of if you truly enjoy the process of farming gold].

E.g., if anything, the wow token is the P2W feature, because you can get EVERYTHING done in game via buying wow tokens [e.g., glad carries, mythic raid clears, X level m+ key timed, characters power leveled, etc.].

The only exception/thing I think you can’t necessarily buy with $$$/wow tokens is a rank 1 arena title (assuming that the person isn’t being piloted by someone).

Don’t complain.

Total price Canadian is $147.84.

Just on sheer principle alone I refuse to pay more for a mount than what the game itself cost.

imo your o is just massive hyperbole. Mailing stuff to your AH mule and logging over isn’t exactly a taxing process. Calm down with the emotionally driven and poorly thought out reactions.

2 mins? more like less than a second

Not P2W but I can understand someone who dumped all that gold into the other one that’s now no longer as good as this one might be a bit peeved.

Game has been p2w since the token was introduced. This isn’t even p2w, it’s pay for a slight convenience which is far from game breaking. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. Nobody cares, except some of those that bought the original but mostly the players that bought 40 tokens to afford it. :skull: I don’t pity them one bit nor do I care what others do with their own money.

90 dollars in today’s value is nothing. But 90 dollar for a virtual mount is Microsoft money grabbing. I honestly think game should be free to play, a lot of thing they selling is more expensive than free to play game cash shop

Yet for some reason people think 7.25 an hour is a suitable rate and livable wage xD

They should reenable the old mount for the same price, and let more causual people grind it out over time. The devs wont, but they already contradicted their “Brutasaur/AH mount will never come back” ideology they spewed

I think they mean it will never be in green brutosaur…they could attach ah and repair to another animal it do the same thing

if people cant take the time to visit the ah and need to drop $90 or whatever amount of gold through tokens let them i suppose lol.

doesn’t really bother me more less just makes players lazier which has been blizzard’s goal for awhile since people will pay for convenience at any price.

thats a nice cope. time is money friend.

Do you assume that’s what everyone is making? lol

Shouldn’t the ones who are mad about this be the guys who spent 10x more on wow tokens back in bfa to get it because it was going to be removed after the xpac?

no one needs a reason to be mad.

Yeah comes across like a slap in the face $90 for a mount in the store whist they make the game almost unplayable for many classes with the 20th Anniversary patch. Mount will probably come out in the trading post next month LMAO.

Blizzard is going down the drain more and more these days, they might be making the $ but I don’t think they have landed one successful patch in the past 12 months, every one of them has had some type of major issue (SOD, Cata & retail)

Git Gud again Blizzard
