Hello. I’m a returning player that has raided in the past and recently went 6/8 Heroic for Eternal Palace. My parses aren’t that impressive but I can assure you I’m a good player with lots of raid awareness and good mechanical skill. I know my class very well. Critical has been around for almost a decade now, and we push high keys throughout the week in addition to mythic raiding.

Hi Reyzu : ) Not sure if our raid times work for you, but would like to chat.
<The Veil> 7/8H 2/2H is a raiding guild on Stormrage-US. We aim to push progression within a competitive 2-day (6 hour) schedule while still maintaining a fun and positive atmosphere. We treat each other with respect, seek high performance, excellent game-play and a positive attitude. Drama and toxic behavior are not tolerated here.
Raiding only 2 nights a week means we want our players to be the best they can be. Our members have families, careers, and studies, so we need to take the 6 hours we spend together seriously.
We also run Mythic + most days of the week. For some of us pushing high level keys is our primary WoW focus, but we also strive to make sure our raiders are getting their capped weekly rewards.
Raid Schedule:
Tuesday: 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm (EST/server time)
Thursday: 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm (EST/server time)
Optional: Monday: 5pm – 8pm “Alt”/fun run on re-clears & lower difficulty (pending participation)
You must be able to reliably make the core raid nights with near 100% attendance. Real life does occasionally hit even the most reliable raider, all we ask is for as much notice as possible.
Current Needs:
We strive for an environment that takes the challenges of mythic raiding seriously while giving the content the respect it deserves. Our aim is, as all mythic teams, full clear of content but with always keeping the friendly spirit of camaraderie alive. We do not require mythic raid experience to join our team but we do expect mythic-level dedication and accountability from all of our raiders. You must be able to take constructive criticism and have ownership over your level of play, and be willing to put in the effort to be a contribution to the team.
We want someone that is going to put forth their best effort. This means knowing your class inside and out, coming to raid prepared with food, flask, runes, re-roll tokens, knowledge of upcoming encounters and your role within them. We are looking for someone who can think on their own and follow a strategy without being constantly reminded throughout the encounter.
Heals – preference for Holy pally
Ranged DPS – all (preference for boomkin, ele sham)
Melee DPS – all (preference for warrior, WWmonk, ret paly)
Tanks – all (preference for monk, paladin, warrior)
Exceptional players of any class should always feel free to apply. Our roster is somewhat flexible so we will never turn away a great player. We just want the best 20+ people in our raid so we can progress.
What we expect from you:
** Discord and a working mic is a requirement **
- Be punctual, reliable, and competent
- Have a good attitude towards raiding. While we do our best to have fun, our goal is to use our time efficiently and effectively.
- Have the ability to take constructive criticism. We all make mistakes but repeating mistakes is the bane of progression. Understand your mistakes, learn from them and fix them.
- Bring consumables: We expect raiders to bring flasks, potions, and some food in case we don’t provide feasts. While we may not pre-pot or food buff on initial pulls, it is expected that during serious attempts, all raiders are maximizing their output.
Our trial period is 2-3 weeks and in that time we consider a several factors - Performance, Situational Awareness, and Fit/Attitude/Attendance. Performance is your output (DPS/healing/threat). Situational Awareness is your ability to not take unnecessary damage and correctly execute fight mechanics. Fit/Attitude/Attendance is how well you fit in with the guild, your outlook on raiding, and your reliability in raids.

Why DNR?
DNR has a tight-knit group of skilled, like-minded raiders and administrators/officers. We’re easy going, we love to have fun, and we enjoy our raiding experience together while maintaining top-end status. We are non-biased and intolerant of drama in any form. When raiding with our guild, you will find that the atmosphere is very laid-back. However, when the time comes for progression, we know how to focus and get the job done.
Our number one priority in DNR is maintaining our positive environment so that members are happy to log on and excited to raid and work together.
Loot: Personal Loot
We currently run Personal Loot in BFA, and we roll out upgrades that raiders don’t need to the Core Raiders if they need them -We take into consideration various factors such as:
• Performance
• Raid Attendance
• Previous Loot
• Attitude and drive for progression
Applicant Requirements:*
Attendance:
We currently raid 3 nights a week during active progression, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Raid invites go out at 9:00pm EST, begin raiding at 9:15pm and run until 12:15am. There may be occasions when raids run slightly later than usual, this is typically 5-10 minutes over for progression/trash re-clear avoidance. If you cannot sustain a high rate of attendance (90% minimum), this is not the guild for you.
Skill:
Can you do your job well while still being aware of environmental hazards? Will you be able to adjust to an emergency change in the strategy without losing your main focus or panicking? If so, you’re the kind of player we’re looking for.
Gear:
Your gear directly enhances your performance. Is it all properly gemmed, upgraded and enchanted? The amount of effort you put into your gear correlates to the amount of effort you put into raiding. If your gear is not equivalent or close enough to the gear associated with the content we are clearing to allow you to carry your own weight, you must prove to us, without a doubt, you are the correct choice for your position through outstanding play, and motivation to improve not only gear but skill.
Intelligence:
Are you smart? Do you make the same mistake twice? Can you learn from someone else’s mistake? Can you evaluate a given situation on the fly, and make the right decision in a split second?
Experience:
You need to have experience close to that of the guilds current progression, past raiding experience is also a plus. Many of our raiders at least have Heroic/Mythic prior raid experience under the belt with CE.
Guild Experience: We’ve cleared H BoD, H CoS, and are currently 6/8 H Eternal Palace week 1.
Public Communications
DNR cares about our public persona. It is for this reason we ask that unless you are buying/selling items offering or engaging services you are asked to not post in Trade/General/Instance chats. Trolling is not tolerated and can have you removed from the guild.
General requirements include:
- Preferably 18+, but just be mature.
- Ability to use Discord and have working mic.
- Ability to frequently check up on our forums for updates on raid strategies and other general guild information.
- Income supply sufficient to support the repairs that a good progression week will result in. We provide the consumables that are required for both progression and most farm raids. Once you pass trial, the guild supplies raiders with full repairs and flasks/pots for raid nights.
- Stable Connection!! More or less NO disconnects during the fight. In order to play this game at the level we expect, you need a decent computer and a good internet connection.
