Yesterday I got a 489 weapon, completed 4 set, had highest ilvl in raid, parsed multiple 95+% bosses, and was not even visible on the damage meters. Rogues hunters locks take up the first 6-8 slots in every encounter.
Hopefully we get something next Tuesday.

Yeah it is absolutely ridiculous.
I was only 2 item levels lower then my friend, who plays a hunter, and the difference between our total damage at the end of the dungeon was absurd. I spent an embarrassing amount of time researching “What I did wrong” before discovering that warriors are on life support as a class.
Some level of damage difference in unavoidable, but Blizzard should be worried about how much more damage DH/Hunters/Rogues are dealing right now because it makes it pointless to play other DPS classes.
It is very unsatisfying to know that no matter how well you perform you’re just going to be in the bottom of the pack, when a bunch of Flavor of the Month gamerbros can beat you with no effort.
Yes, I’m salty about it.

And the worst is that we lack utility as well

While you’re parsing greens/grays, everyone above you is parsing blue/purple by ilvl. Skill issue.

ilvl means jack all unless you compare identical trinket setups to each other.
I love that we can so readily pull logs and see that they did not indeed parse 95+ on any boss
Do you know how parses work? check my logs i had 2 96’s on tuesday that are now 94’s so i’m not quite sure why the smug attitude?
I do, you got overnighted. Which means you parsed 94s not 96s. Regardless, you’re complaining about a class in the top half with RWF representation that does not need buffs or adjustments and is doing fine. Warrior has both specs in the top half.
my 94 parse is a rogues 75 parse is the problem, not that i initially said 96 and it went down 2 percent over night.
Warrior is not on life support, we are real solid right now dps wise.
Even before we get our legendary we are on the upper half of all dps.

With the approximate 4-5% increase in ST comparatively to other max ilvl weapons the leggo places us in an even better spot.
The people claiming its on life support are on hard copium tbh.

For me, Warrior is very underwhelming compared to top classes. My 464 lock is now out dpsing my 477 warrior. Feels like I’m doing half the work on my lock.
I’m not going to suffer coat it, you are making rotational mistakes if that’s the case.
Perhaps you are not using the new set properly or are not keeping proper uptime.
Regardless of the cause the best way to improve is to read up and practice, I’d recommend beginning with the Wowhead guides and then if you have further questions you can ask them in the Warrior discord.

You do have a valid point, however we have been balanced around having a legendary.
Rogue parses are borked due to augmentation evoker hooks not working properly on damage attribution. Beast master hunters also have a similar issue to rogues. Warriors, when played properly, are in the upper 1/3rd of damage currently according to 95th percentile parses.
He actually did from the logs I am looking at
Update:
I swapped to fury and started getting the right stats. Much better… still a diff not as noticeable.
This is a skill issue, but glad to see you learned fury and are doing better.
Noob to logs wtf is a parse
