Correction: they couldn’t hold off Cross-Faction because Alliance was almost completely incapable of doing instanced content and has been experiencing an enormous exodus since MoP that got a million times worse since Legion.
Season 3 has been current content for a little over three months, and that’s it. If 9.2.5 and Season 4 were one and the same, we wouldn’t have gotten it now whatsoever because the season is barely at its midpoint, if that. They weren’t going to rush Season 4 out.
Season 3 was not nearly long enough to add season 4 in yet. Especially with probably 8 months of SL left. I do agree with the constant downtime being annoying and honestly weird for how WoW usually runs. But it is what it is.
I’m just sitting here, having a mocha, and laughing at the memories of those who laughed when I said cross faction play would involve a lot more than simply toggling it on/off.
the fact that they haven’t released the next 5 expansions this patch all while being perfectly balanced means blizz is just being lazy and not worth my sub. I’ll keep subbing to complain about it. but i assure you, my heart really isn’t in it. which is what really counts.
I guess I crossed my purposes. 9.2.5 was released incomplete, they did it so when season 4 comes out they think they will have their qa team, us the subscribers, work out all the bugs so season 4 runs smooth.
