9.2.5 is Horde patch

Any of you have a mom who didn’t love them as little kids? I was like that. No affections, hugs, cuddles, any of that. Oh I got my meals and was clothed, but spent much of my early childhood with an emotionless face staring out of the window or playing alone in the dirt.

That’s sort of what I feel now to Blizz Devs. Seeing much of the content in 9.2.5 focus on Blood Elves and Forsaken lore, I’m just not surprised anymore. My faction is on life support. We’re 1/3 of the population. At least we’ll be able to complete some group content if some Horde guilds are willing to bring us along (why would they?).

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for BE and Undead players. No shots at them. But ONCE AGAIN our lore is entirely driven by what the Horde is doing. This time in Lordaeron.

1/3rd. Hey, let’s gun for 1/4, folks. I know we can do it!

Excuse me?

You’re a void elf copying as a high elf

You don’t have a right to complain when you were given everything when your fellow colleagues complained for years

I kind of feel like it’s setting up to be the opposite to be honest.

Wait… you got food?

I don’t care if the Alliance has their special brand of victim complex so long as I can forever complain about being forced to tolerate obnoxious Taelia Fordragon and her daddy issues in the middle of cosmic crisis even though I don’t even know her

That really was about the most awkward place they could have put their bit of character drama. Like it obviously had to play out at some point in the expansion. So why not when they’re chilling in oribos?

Must be opposite day. I agree with Clark 100%.

They made ME feel out of place. I was like… here I am doing all the heavy lifting and you’re reconnecting with your dad?? When you’ve been AFK in Oribos together all expansion long? Why was she even invited to the Shadowlands anyway?

There’s a Dark Iron questline too, and some datamining that indicates Tyrande and the Winter Queen will have some interactions.

Chill.

Well she has a mace. And a can-do attitude!

Well you see, its because… umm… nope. Ive got nothing.
Why was she there? She has no real rank in the alliance.
She had no business heading to the shadowlands

I had to look it up, even though I did the quests on Alliance side.

It is because she learned her father was alive and wanted to go see him.
I am sure some people appreciate her character and her relationship with her dad and all, but… I just don’t. Maybe it’s a me thing!

So I take it you didn’t play pre Shadowlands patch

Wanting to see your dad isnt enough to go join the fight against hell. Lol

Nope, it was really strange. It was also pretty poorly written. The dialogue was incredibly unrealistic and a bit pointless. I know it’s a video game, but writers get paid to write, they should be doing a good job.

As long as I’m not violating the TOS, I’ll complain as much as I want.

You ever see those “we have X at home” memes? Void elves are those memes. We’re the X at home. :pensive:

Im a void elf who looks like a high elf. Im happy for the customization but even i can sympathize with blood elves, the gross injustice given to them is staggering by the dev team.

Some from neighbors. Some at school. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

And the majority of the forums will tell you that you don’t have a right to complain

And your sad story is absolute “fake tears” l kind of story like Heards tears, cause there are kids that are forced to trafficking
