Just came back to wow looking to see what is strong for 9.2. So far for the classes I am interested in, I have heard:
Spriests- were S-Tier but got nerfed? Still strong?
Mages- Fire mage op, but what about frost? Arcane perma dead?
Ele-Still just meh with big burst?
Lock-Affi deathbolt nerf? Demo getting buffed? Destro just destro still?
Boomy- S tier now and in 9.2?
Hpal- Were strong but seem weak now?
Rdruid-Good?
Rsham-Good?
Priest- Holy and Disc both seem pretty good?
Havoc was apparently unplayable until a month or two ago.
Kyrian Druid play rate probably went up like 1500% in the same timeframe.
I don’t know how you think anybody can predict what things will look like in the future when we only have a vague grasp of things even when they’re current.
This. Everything I tested on PTR is busted. Play what you enjoy as it can all work. You will realize this when an Ele 1 shots you, an Assa rogue melts you, a fire mage never dies and does nothing all game then deletes you in a 2 sec combust, a Lock has 100k health and destroys you, a Ret instagibs you, a Boomy dumps 7+ back to back starsurges into you, etc. So just find the playstyle you like and run with it.
I honestly think it will be. The 4 set is really good for setting up burst and with the new gear and trink bonus paired with locks hidden stam buff in PvP they have like 100k health on PTR in full gear. Press dark pact and it’s like an 80k absorb lol.
I am not putting a gun to ur head saying if ur wrong ill shoot u lmao. Thanks for ur input
The thing is most classes are a shell of what they were. Fire mage is most boring spec i have played as it’s been the same for so many years, Frost was fun but has been terrible. I am sorry but playing a “interesting spec” then getting dumped on by derpy dh or rmp is not fun any day of the week. outlaw looks fun but has been useless lmao. And besides all classes/specs i mentioned above is what im interested, just let me know if you think they are strong or look to be strong. i feel like i am trolling my self at this point trying to explain this.
They got some new honor talents that make them super durable into physical damage, they just…start a little slower in 3v3, and most rms open super hard. Comps haven’t been as explored yet as its kind of a new thing.
