Knowing them they take off a month for holidays and make low level employees work. I’ll think they will time it so tbc classic has their patch before retail and not have them close together.

My hope is late January. But I doubt all that much development will be done in the Thanksgiving/Xmas period.

Bro look at most of that video again. Alot of concept art. Very few made designs and not even an idea of the scope of the zone. Hell we only know 4ish bosses in the 11 boss raid.

Also we would be likely having ptr around now if late January (to bridge over the winter break). Just expect March, and take this time to play aspects of the game you didn’t have time for before. Or just play other games.

If they follow normal timeliness, they have
about 2 weeks to have it on PTR for a Jan release…

I would be really amazed if they made that happen

Thats actually pretty perfect. We most likely will get a PTR during that time. So jan is prob the most realistic date for this. Im pumped. two months.

Expect the worst. That way if it comes earlier you can be pleasantly surprised.

Took em 2 months to drop 9.1.5 and it wasn’t even a major content patch, and then they messed up so much stuff that was working fine on launch. 2 months is not at all realistic, especially if they announce it sometime maybe around Dec/end of Nov.

That was before like 50% or so of the work place takes off for Thanksgiving/Christmas or goes to all the company parties.

99% sure early March

Hasn’t even hit PTR yet.
And only after it hits PTR, give it a few more months.

Patch 9.1 was on PTR in April, and released June 29th. ~2.5 months
And it was first announced February 19

So the earliest you can 9.2 hit PTR is december. Hence, the earliest for 9.2 live is ~february.
And that’s THE earliest one could ever possibly dream.

But given the track record of past patches, won;t be on PTR for at least a few more months.
