Perhaps I heard incorrectly, but I thought for sure someone was bragging about all the great new mechanical pets we will be able to tame in the new zone. There are a lot of beast in the zone but many are meh and repetitive and not particularly interesting to me. Anyone else finding ways to be true? Maybe I’m missing something or someone point me to a part of the zone that has really nice pets?

Nope you aren’t missing any thing. I am not going to diss on anyone who likes the beasts in Zereth. But there were very few I really thought looked decent so I’ve tamed like three, and I’m using none of them as my main pet.
But stuff like this is very subjective, so I’m sure there are people who find the proto-creature style really nifty. I’m just hoping we get more creatures next expansion that are high def like the mounts, the furline and that blue phoenix .
My main disappointment is that for an expansion based on ‘spirits and death’, we got no new spirit beasts outside of the one from the old pandaria raid.
Objectively, the new beasts have less polygons (or a low poly aesthetic, but not the best executed) and less detailed textures than any beast we’ve been given in a long time.

Wish I could find out if I did like any of the new pets, but they all say not tameable to me.=(
