That’s a blatant lie, they overlap releases constantly with other big title releases.
I mean, right now ESO is launching their next expansion on june 1st, Blizzard suddenly announces TBC on june 1st, june 1st was also going to be the date for ashes of creation alpha testing.

They’ve been doing exactly that since Star Wars: The Old Republic’s launch back in 2011. Their big patches mysteriously coincide with every other MMORPG’s launch or expansion every single time.
I’ll let you decide whether it’s a smart business move or a desperate one based on your level of cynicism towards Activision-Blizzard, but they’re definitely doing that.

FFXIV is basically dead, nobody cares.
You mean 9.1? And I hope not. That will be very tough…on one hand I want to unlock and level up reaper ASAP, but I also need to get better gear and into new systems for 9.1 raid cause I want to kill Sylvannas finally.
So dead they’re opening up a brand new data center for Oceanic players. Definitely the signs of a game contracting as opposed to expanding lol.
