9.2 in jan?

Any chance?

Only if they break it up. Put out the new zone end of January and the raid in February or March.

Which is what they SHOULD be doing with all their patches, mind you. Break it up and release it in parts, rather than dumping a ton of new stuff on everyone at once. Because their current method just ends up with most of the content lost in the shuffle.

Not really no. Patch PTRs very predictably usually last for about two months. Since 9.2’s began at the start of this month we can very strongly see the patch release in early February. I’d say the 1st or the 8th are best bets. If it really runs late then the 15th, but we’ll see.

January is too early to expect it. It’s still working through builds and not quite that close to release.

Not a chance. Late February early March is more likely.

They said they were giving most people extended holidays in December so don’t expect a normal PTR pace.

Second tiers in an expansion usually last from 6-8 months, which would make my earliest estimate for 9.2 to be early Feb or late Jan at the earliest.

I dunno how much the recent drama has actually affected the day to day operations of WoW, but PTR is still progressing at a nice clip so I don’t think 9.1 will be anywhere near as long as 9.0 was.

End of February, early March is my prediction. Lots of crap going on behind the scenes at Blizzard at the PTR cycles are usually standard (except we’ve had several holidays between Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years).

More likely February - March, cause with the exception of a possible 9.2.5 patch.

9.2 is the last major planned patch for Shadowlands, which would leave us with about about a year in between then and any chance for 10.0 in 2023.

It’ll be late Feb early March I think.

A lot of changes and balancing still to be done

Ptr is a blast but haven’t touched the new zone, just pvp

Feb 11th - Lost Ark western release drops

Whoever said feb 8th is probably on the money.

No, Blizzard has the last 2 weeks of December off.

March seems more reasonable.

it'll be here soon enough

Don’t you worry, they’ll release it just in time to take advantage of six month subs expiring. For Ill or for good.

Late Feb at the earliest. I wouldn’t be surprised though to even see it go as late as mid March especially given their ongoing internal struggles and this global pandemic that is still a thing and totally not getting worse with now evolved variants getting thrown into the mix and it being winter where people naturally tend to get sicker and whatnot.

No chance really.

We were looking at a mid February to begin with and heard there might be a week or two delay. So expect at latest March. Do still say mid February is a good time frame to expect.
