It’s very similar, if not identical, to the heroic leap issue. The HUGE issue with this isn’t that it’s just not working. The major problem is it is triggering the cd after not working. AT LEAST STOP IT FROM TRIGGERING THE CD

Grappling hook stopped working after patch on my Outlaw Rouge. Did they do away with it?
Still happening pretty frequently. If it’s not possible to fix for some reason then please at least make grappling hook not go on CD unless the entire pull animation happens.

Since the new prepatch 10.0.0, my hook is not hooking like 80 percent of time, it was not happening before. Like @Emaciate said, removing the cooldown of it when it doesnt work could be the easiest solution. As a game dev myself, this is not even taking a day to fix.
Cause right now, you hook and obviously its not working. Now you have to wait for 30 sec to use it again (If you have the talent to reduce the cooldown of course), this is so frustrating for us player to have to deal with this… If you want us to stop playing with it, the best way is to leave it like unresolved.
