So…the community/forums or whatever get upset when the game doesn’t have content, then gets upset when it does
Gets upset when there isn’t engaging gameplay, then gets upset at systems
Gets upset at more story, then less story, being heroes, or being adventurers
Gets upset with no loot, then gets upset with having loot
Gets upset at a lack of communication, then gets upset at the communication
Complains about time gating, then plays a game designed around that philosophy
Complains about cosmic wars, then dislikes the small simple stuff in every zone
Do you guys even know what you actually want or do you complain for the sake of it? I’m legit curious.

idk tbh after watching that and coming on here to people complaining im just assuming people complain just to complain at this point. like bruh it hasn’t even launched yet it was just a teaser. play it first THEN complain about it. or wait until it hits PTR, test it, THEN complain and hope they actually listen to the complaints ( doubt they will ).

I see posts at least a few times a week complaining about loot “raining from the sky” or being upset that loot is accessible to all despite effort or challenge

Has there been backlash?
Only complaint I’ve seen so far, is that the Raid will be segmented and or Time gated. Haven’t seen much else.
We don’t know a whole lot yet so… emphasis on the YET.

I have a crazy idea…maybe …just maybe the people that have different opinions about things are …different people, that like different things.

Systems aren’t engaging gameplay. They’re just gates and grinds.
And you do realize that different people have different opinions that get voiced, yes? We’re not a hive mind.

I love this strawman of an argument. It’s almost like I never said there’s a problem with differing opinions but it seems like people contradict themselves in their own complaints

I have multiboxing accounts but I didn’t realize people have burner accounts.
Anyway, I hope there are multiple gear progression systems for everyone! Rain the loots down upon us!

Hasnt even launched yet, but to be honest, anyone who had played some other games besides wow can see where they are drawing their ideas from, and they are not good.
It has features of the worst in each game similar to the idea they have.
I am not the only one that has mentioned Mass Effect, Guild Wars and even freaking Cyberpunk.
All tropes we know to breed bad glitchy and annoying stuff.
Even the girl in the vid herself says “And we are walking in water for some reason”.

A lot of people know what they want but that doesn´t mean that other part of the playerbase will want the same. Example, i posted that we need the story from the books in game and some people even defended the books and that the story from the last ones couldn’t be in game because some reasons.
I talked about less RNG for some cosmetics drops that have less that 1% since these kind of drop dont bring new people with this kind of rewards…etc and there’s people that won´t accept that and mention that those cosmetics are “rare”…etc.
