I used to use the TipTac addon for this. However, the author Aezay might have abandoned it and not been updating for some time. The 9.1.5 update removed some values and variables’ access for addons, which prevented TipTac 9.0.1 from working.
What are some ways to fix this and allow the tooltip to show next to the cursor? Thanks in advance!!

Edit: I have found the answer myself, finally.
There is a new addon made for 9.1.5: Def’s Tooltip (by DefectiveTank). It attaches the tooltip to mouse cursor and hides it in combat. While it doesn’t show your guild rank and can’t be configured to show in combat, it’s at least a quick and dirty fix.
