EDIT: I’m not so much complaining about the loot system. It’s just a fact of the matter that I’m disappointed, but better luck next week!

I did not down that many boss as you. Still, 0 gear loot for me. I stop doing this week M+ and raid. What’s the point of enduring bad raid/group if there’s no gear drop in the end.

you’re doing pretty well even without gear. Let others who don’t do as well get the gear, that way we can all be one happy family together progressing on 10/10.

Serious question: would you guys rather complain about not getting loot, or complain about titanforging? Because I think that’s where we’re at, unless they can come up with an alternative or middle ground to titanforging.

You’re still 204 ilvl, I wouldn’t worry about it. The expansion has been out 1 whole month.

my personal favorite is the “nothing to do” complaining because nothing rewards upgrades anymore two weeks into a patch.

I think the problem is that people feel like they’re not seeing worthwhile returns on their investment of time. The gold you get from a boss often doesn’t even cover the repair costs you incur - it certainly doesn’t compensate for expenses like potions/flasks/etc. :slight_smile:

Serious question: What are potential solutions to this problem?

I’ve stopped carring about loot drops mostly and expect most if it to come from the vault. Hell I swapped mains this reset…that toon is 187 now.

I think the root of the problem is that titanforging incentivized replaying content whereas removing it meant you were done once your loot dropped. To offset the change, they had to make loot more scarce for the sake of replayability. At least that’s what I think.

Serious answer: If we’re going to have more scarce drops, badge loot should make a comeback as Vahlan was implying.

It’s either titanforging and bonus rolls…

or

Scarce drops and badge vendors. I’m indifferent, just gimme dem mogs.

All they had to do was remove titanforging. They didn’t have to decrease the loot drops.

It’s really not hard but blizzards gonna blizzard.
