What do you mean, do you mean Trollsday likes his own posts? I don’t think so, he is a well respected member of arena community.
I’m sure they will, we will hear from them tomorrow “All iLvL in PvP is eternally 250 from this day on, we decided to turn WoW PvP to Counter Strike, no gear progress anymore”.
Theres 2 different problems that people are trying to fight in this thread 1 of them is the fact gear scales with your rating which is probably the Lesser evil of the two and then theres the fact that gearing takes upward of 60 hours of farming and still being undergeared.
They just need to increase conq per win from arenas and rbgs and allow normal bgs to gain conquest at a reduced rate and pretty much everything is fixed. Then they just normalise conquest gear and honor gear to have the same ilvl in pvp and a slightly lower then similar content ilvl to appease the pve players.
Yeah 6 different PVP item level brackets in just one season is ridiculous. They should have a shorter season but you know they would have to actually release more content every four months or so instead of double that.
Watched the Stoopz video and yeah 2 item level rather then 7 per bracket would be amazing. There is just no chance for a new player in current content. They are just dragging out content and promoting boosters.
His video says its promoting boosting so WOW tokens sooo like i said in a ton of other posts its in part cause of wow tokens blizzard has done this.
Don’t mistake me with Bloomsday, I just defend what I think is right and do not accuse people of trolling when they have a different opinion. Below you can see indication of my good intentions, it has always been pure, post number 29.
I am not saying this system is flawless, it has flaws but it enables us to PvP without stepping into PvE, this is definition of a succesful PvP gearing despite its flaws.
^ If they want to make an upgrade system it should just be behind honor farmed after you get the item, not behind rating. everyone should have the chance to fight on an even playing field throughout the season. Back to the top you go, wonderful post.
That is how I always preferred it. I would complain about how powerful their Class/Spec was; and proceed to figure out how to counter their Class. With equal ilvl it feels more realistic to counter their class. Otherwise it feels like more mathematics involved. If a guide says you counter by pressing “A” after they “A” and “B” after they “B” then that is how it should be. If you are having to “B” when they are initiating “A” because they are outgearing you…then it’s not skill based.
People on the forums crying about Classes and specs is lively. People not crying about anything because they are no longer subbed is…well…
I’d take complaining about class imbalance over what we have now, to be honest. At least then I can tell what actually killed me and maybe try and deal with it. A given spec or class being OP has been a way of life for PVP since forever, and in a lot of cases you at least stood a chance of beating them if they were dumb. But this season you had people flocking to the strongest specs immediately to gain their rating advantage, and that advantage never goes away.
It was the same with corruptions, half the time I didn’t even know what killed me until I checked the logs.
