9.1 Delay Solved

Due to lots of people being upset at the 9.1 release delay I am going to release the real reason…

COVID-19.

We were all home for a long time on quarantine. People became super WoW players because it was available all day and a lot of people were stuck without anything else to do.

The content in 9.0 was completed in record time! Now people, like they should, want more.

Give some congratulations to yourselves…you all actually completed content faster than ever.

But seriously…hurry up and release 9.1, Blizz. We are dying out here!!!

i’m unsure why you feel the need to not only say this, but know it’s not true and say it

False. I was working the entire time… even got a piece of paper I never used

How is it not true? Lots and lots of people were home and quarantined which allowed for more time to play games. Did you play more during quarantine? You will probably say “no” because you don’t want to prove my point. And now you’ll double down on your “no” as to refute the prior sentence.

that doesn’t effect the date for 9.1

I’m willing to bet it had a huge toll in it. People completed content too early.

Why do you think it is?

this doesn’t effect the date for 9.1 being far away

The one where if you get stopped by police you can show it and be like “I’m essential!” I had one like that.

This is almost written as if you don’t know that 9.1 comes out in a little over a week lol

Devils advocate, I think most of us knew that COVID played a factor in delays and are still upset by it.

They were in panic mode before 8.3 launched.

The end cinematic, completely broken quests, world boss and zone lag, end progression mask runs weren’t play tested well. Place holder art on mob ability indicators. Corruption abilities needing a 50% nerf post launch.

The prepatch where somehow a slide whistle sound was added to the turtle match game.

Pretty obvious things were significantly breaking down well before covid hit.

Uhh I’m confused lmao

This is bad logic. So some people who were at home collecting double unemployment are the reason why the content “was completed so quickly” and was the cause of the substantial time to 9.1 release?

I am sick of this, its not covid.

I disagree with the logic. While the pandemic may be part of the reason for the delay, that has little to do with limited size of the expansion. I would say the small footprint of the expansion has far more to do with people completing content quickly than people at home.

Looks like you’re using an oven built by a gnome.

It was a Goblin one… but fixed and thank you!

Now try and remember just how much content 9.0 contained when it was released, unfinished, after a long delay.
