9.1 boss spoilers

Also, note, the Primes are kitted out as Mawsworne Kyrian.

Well, that’s not surprising. Of course they’re agents of the Jailor.

I agree with you.

If we cannot save him, we will free him from his torments.

Interesting to see that they’ve been turned into Mawsworn. Furthermore it feels that Skyja was the Valkyr that diminished herself to empower Nathanos in Dark Mirror since Kyra and Signe appeared to be at the A game in BfA. Plus you know Skyja not being involved suggests she needed to recover.

Now since the wowhead dungeon journal model section just shows three, I’m not sure where the six fit. Unless they were used as fuel to turn the Valkyr into Mawsworn or are adds for the fight.

That depends on how Ner’zhul is handled here. Like if he’s just a raid boss and is permanently killed off or defeated and saved from the Maw. I can easily see Ner’zhul being saved and his gift of sight being used as a vehicle for future content.

It’s our Ner’zhul… According to Blizzard, AU versions of character become threads within the main character’s hope when they die. Furthermore Death is not about time but eternity, so when AU Velen he immediately become a thread in MU Velen’s rope, even though MU Velen is still kicking.

Well, that does not quite fit their story, but we get what we get. At least now we’ll know where the 6 killed ended up.

Is this necessary?

Looks like they’ll be just empowered / controlled via their pact.

As mawsworn they look a bit odd, but ok. Still many details are missing.

You mean the probably BS story they fed to Sylvanas to exploit her emotional and psychological duress to convince her to create a contract with them? In a way too good to be true deal, that on the surface appears they merely traded all their bargaining power and the chains of Bolvar … to the chains and eternal damnation of Sylvanas? Then we learn absolutely nothing about them from that point on, beyond it likely being them who got Sylvie in touch with Helya? Who is revealed as another agent of the Jailor?

Did Danathrius just toss his prized cow to the Maw?

Good question. Maybe it was Renethal.

I mean that they’re created from vrykul. So, not really fitting the mawsworn visually IMO.

That is indeed the case, but even in Edge of Night Annhylde implied they did not make their choice willingly.

Wasn’t it Mueh’zala who recruited Helya in team Jailer?

I hope Blizz treats him well and there is a happy ending.
Thrall and Garrosh =

The Venthyr thought he was the prized cow of Revendreth and not the Jailer himself! Denathrius was aiding the Jailer from the beginning!

Doesnt seem like Renethal’s MO. I guess if daddy Jailer told him to toss Garrosh to the Maw so they could extra the max anima possible/used whatever is left to create a loyal soldier, Danathrius might just comply.

It was. He boasts about it during his fight in an attempt to make Bwonsamdi cower.

This is probably the only boss fight in all WoW where I wouldnt mind wiping. At least I know Garrosh get to feel an ounce of the pain he caused.

Perhaps Garrosh may influence Thrall’s donning the Doomhammer plate armor again?

I am sure you will have fun there.
Garrosh was never really a bad guy and
he was in Revendreth for a reason.

Let him go the way he should have gone from the start.

I wouldn’t rule that out, but I’m also sure Garrosh and Thrall will meet.
soon

The people in Revendreth are literally “bad guys” that are given the chance to redeem themselves. Part of me sort of hopes the dialog/ending is different between the Alliance/Horde.

He still has a remnant of it in azeroth back from wotlk

C’mon now… who would want to be free of the Lich King??? That’s sooooo suspect.
