Back in the mid to late 90s I was stationed at Ft. Bragg and really got into the Carolina rave scene. I don’t really listen to that kind of music anymore but once in awhile I do get nostalgic for some old school EDM. DJ Icey and Feelgood were 2 of my favorites. Anybody else have a soft spot for 90s techno?
Wasnt really into it personally, more into grunge and rock back then. Smashing pumpkins, janes addiction, nirvana, rhcp etc.

I still listen to techno stuff. Robert Miles, Paul Oakenfold, Paul van Dyke, all that stuff.

I’m not exactly sure what the American techno/electronic music scene was like. But I remember back in in 08 or something a girl who went overseas to the US said it felt like you guys were years behind when it came to house/hardcore/anything electronic. But then again, we missed out on grunge, hard rock and metal. Either way, being Dutch, our 90’s was filled with hardcore house and gabbers.
