9.0: Void Elf Face Bug

When blood elves were finally reworked back in WoD for 6.1, the males looked a little funky with their lips. Players often called this the “duck face” lips as they were overly-puckered. The females were given longer, masculine looking faces as well. This was altered and fixed in BfA (8.1 I believe?), but I only just realized that Void Elf were given the old duck face/long face variants rather than the fixed blood elf faces from BfA.

I feel like this was an oversight. I really want my void elf to have the lighter skin option come 9.0, but I just can’t go back to that hideous duck looking face. Can this please be fixed?

That’s not the duck face. The facial rigging is just not working properly on the character creator. It’s using the same rigging for every face with non-void skins.

This was the duckface (current on left, duck on right)

Thanks for clarifying then, doesn’t change the fact that the rigging is still incomplete/bugged. It needs to be fixed.

I could be mistaken, but aren’t the Void Elf faces meant to look more withering, and taut, and strained?

The void elf faces are exactly the same as the blood elf faces, just with different skin tones/darker under the eyes. The blood elf skin tones for VEs on PTR change the faces to being improperly rigged, thus looking awkward and off.

Just make them wear masks, we don’t want covoid.
