89.94 + tax cosmetics

You are paying the same and you get a silly transmog, it’s not $90 for cosmetics. It’s $20 if you buy it alone or free if you plan on playing for 6 months and buy the game time.

You do realize you can buy tokens, and redeem them for $15 store cash. So realistically, you dont have to buy them with RL money.

It aint like the gold is hard to farm either.

Yeah, you can’t.

For shame Blizzard. For shame…

I’m going to have to ask you to read more throughout this forum before you post again. The density for all the new participants is too much. Stating the obvious thinking you’re contributing. Everything all of you mentioned has already been addressed, you arent adding or contributing anything.

For shame Blizzard, that I have to buy this weird outfit to wear.

For this exact reason.

and yet they never seem to increase the subscription cost of the game.

You like that part right?

They are being a little more sophisticated with their financial model than what you describe.

I won’t bother to explain further as I’m sure you don’t care. Your point was to whine and troll.

The bi-yearly meltdowns are top notch.

They’ve never increased it because the subscription already handles (pays) the whole dev process of the game.

You clearly have a lack understanding and it shows.

Calling a passionate gamer that’s seen so many of their favorite games hit the dumpster, isnt trolling, it’s bringing awareness to the issue, that you so clearly can not grasp.

Does it?

I love the logic of “If it’s money related its Activision”.

Maybe you should take a break, go play something that doesn’t depress you.

Well, people already does this.

Well, if its unacceptable why are you still here? If you are here that means that you are accepting it. I don’t buy any of that stuff, they are too expensive for me, and I don’t care about them at all.

I think you are redefining what a pay to play model is. Pay to play just means that there is a paywall before you can play.

Another redefinition: F2P just means that there is no initial paywall.

When we purchase stuff we usually evaluate the cost benefit. If you think it is worth it, buy it, if not, don’t.

Of course, if people are willing to spend more money, why would the devs not provide means for that to happen?

Nah I’m not buying it. Just think it’s bad practice.

It took a lot of time to generalize the issues and make them seem acceptable didn’t it?

I dont think its bad practice, I just think its wrong timing.

I further that Jalen. Love you buddy.

Dude, its the same thing every store release. Don’t like it, or think it is too expensive, don’t buy it. It is that simple. I don’t buy them, why should you?

You’re missing the core point, so it seems this thread isnt for you. If you would like, you could actually read this forum a little more to lessen the ignorance behind your words.

Just because people dont agree with you, doesnt mean the thread isnt for them.

I’m not sure I understand what about this one specific situation has you upset.

You don’t seem to be upset about the store bought mounts/pets/toys. I don’t even think you’ve mentioned that each expansion has had multiple purchasable tiers and the higher tiers offer exclusive digital “perks”.

Blizzard is a business. Selling 6-month subscriptions provides them with more stable cashflow because they can project earnings out 6 months rather than guess their budget from month to month, thus they incentivize it.

If you don’t want to buy cosmetics then just ignore them. If Blizzard starts selling raid gear for cash then we can all go ballistic.
