How are you people unable to grasp OP is complaining about Shadowlands price, and saying it’s just “cosmetics” because of what Pre-patch shipped.

They only gave the 6 month perks after the outrage over the store items for nearly the last 10+ years. If no outrage they wouldn’t have been giving this stuff as consolation prizes.

Fine, it’s a 6 month subscription rather than Shadowlands post, and it’s wings rather than pre-patch.
Same thing, who cares about the details when it’s the concept of the post to claim something in the store is much less than what it is to complain about the price. 
The goal is to get people to argue over what the price actually includes, don’t fall for it.
To be fair, when you look at it on a night elf it looks amazing.
I’d pay $100 for someone to design boots for Tauren / Vulpera / Trolls. They have feet. Why can’t they wear shoes?!?!?!
The only thing that bothers me about it is the entire thing seems to be 3d modeled unlike the armor in game that just looks like its painted on you.
Do that many people really subscribe month to month? I’m surprised. I’d bet that a lot of people are staying subbed in 6-month periods anyway, which means they’re lighting an almost extra month’s worth of time ($12.09) on fire for due to the $2/mo discount that comes with the 6-month sub.
Right. Presumably this is going to show up in my battle.net app, even though I did absolutely nothing, simply because I’ve been on a 6-mo recurring sub since forever.
I didn’t do a single thing different and got something extra… sounds like a bonus to me.
It’s not a troll post and I’ve been seeing that term thrown around a lot, It’s ironic for people to see a company slowly transitioning from a “You earned so here’s your reward” to " You spend x money here is your reward". These companies are slowly adapting this model because the whales keep feeding them.

While I agree complaining about something free attached to a 6 month sub is dumb, my problem specifically comes from the fact that a brand new tab was introduced for this titled “Transmogs”. This suggests that more transmog options will be added to the shop. And I disagree with that practice.

Not every game. Terraria, Slay the Spire, Stardew Valley, pretty much any Nintendo game that isn’t on mobile, Diablo 2, Hades, Borderlands (1 and Pre-Sequel). I could go on.
Just because MTX is super-common in the “AAA” industry space doesn’t make it ok, especially if a game is charging up-front in addition to MTX and/or a sub.
