Some awful nerfs came in this patch:
Warlock
- [ With regional restarts ] Soul Leech grants an absorb for 4% of damage dealt when engaged in combat with enemy players (down from 8%).
- Developers’ note: Soul Leech will continue to have a cap of 10% of the Warlock’s maximum health.

both are good nerfs, I honestly think they should have just nerfed the haste amp corruption by 33% instead but the soul leech change is also a positive change for arena.
Flashpoint is pretty broke with haste amps.

I’m awful, but these seem quite reasonable
Oh. No wonder I was able to better 1v1 a 527k Destro without Demon Armor as 467 MM recently. Well, it was definitely needed because I know I can’t crank out Aimed’s as fast they used to be able to crank out cbolts.
They don’t seem that bad. I’m barely geared and can get my bolts down to .9 seconds with backdraft + entropy procs
More geared warlocks are probably so much worse to fight. I imagine people probably miss kicks on them because the casts are so fast
I get it. Destruction’s very strong in pvp and they’re balancing things. But is it really balancing? I mean if there is one class that should be a priority for nerfs, at least in pvp, that is demon hunters which are basically lvl 121 toons.

Its so strange. I never felt that tanky. When you are being beaten on by double melee, a psudo 8% leech in the form of a shield didnt seem very strong…
@Felwaflle what rating are you talking about? Cos DH’s are amongst thr most obnoxious melee to face in arena

Can I play aff or demo yet?
DH isn’t that big of a deal in pvp, especially when you’re a destro lock that can do all their damage in a 1 second chaosbolt frenzy.

change is not yet effective until after the restarts
I think it’s silly to make last minute changes with Shadowlands prepatch right around the corner. I spent a month trying to catch up with all of this farming for the right gear / corruptions / professions so on just to see it get nerfed a month or so before Shadowlands… You can ask anyone how much time and effort I put into it, almost a bit manic on it. I guess I’ll play some riot games because they don’t last minute you after you work really hard to finally have some fun… at that company they seem to respect the gamer.

its likely because the AWC circuit is starting up again soon.
also overall DH really isnt too terrible to play against, if you wanna nerf DH just nerf gushing wound

Umm. DH are pretty easy to beat. Warlocks on the other hand you have to play completely perfect against.

Hmm. I don’t know why that is. When I thought it was easier to take some chaos bolts without control, now it’s going to be perceivably easier. It’ll be good because cbolts go off too fast for its damage output. With MM, I have an excuse for haste buffs because Aimed’s hits for tiddly-winks.

Its only one of thr best melee and biggest offender with corruptions.
Since I put DHs into the discussion, let me elaborate:
Their damage is on par with other strong melee classes but their self healing is just outrageous.
