8.3 worst patch since release

I don’t. I haven’t touched retail garbage since WoD. Classic was also bungled by the ever bungling Blizzard team so my sub is running out and I won’t be playing that, either.

So we’re on the same page: why would you continue to pay 15$ for rotten meat?

No, I did the opposite.
I am just saying, you don’t know what this patch is ultimately going to be like, because it basically hasn’t started.

I don’t know how anyone who has played this game can disagree with me on this, but I see a lot of people do, so I must be missing something!

I for one, will be playing this patch for the rest of 2020, so I will absolutely wait until 9.0 is at least on the horizon before I worry what is and isn’t good about this patch.

Again… What does this have to do with the current patch? You are saying that if they tossed more money into the game that these bugs would never happen? I don’t think you understand how bugs work and because you pay Game Dev more money does not mean you aren’t going to have bugs. Every game has bugs and there are no escaping them.

Money going into CEO’s pocket? You honestly believe that all the money that people are spending on subscriptions, mounts, pets, expansions, skins for OW and Heroes, Packs on Hearthstone and etc are all going to the pocket of the CEO?

This new mount was most likely created months ago while they were working on this patch. Also the people who make these mounts are most likely not the same people who work on quest and game mechanics and etc that these bugs are related to. So again, what does money have to do with making a patch not have bugs?

Their a billion dollar company that fired over 800 staff including tuns of QC testers to save money.

What don’t you understand about this?

If they had not be greedy and put more money into the game than the patch would be in a better spot than it is.

Hey, that’s three Happy Meals, dude. People will eat anything if you put it in a shiny box with a free toy inside.

I’m just ticked about the “kill four rares” and the respawn rates are slow as hell. You’d think it’d be easy to pack a map full of them, but nope.

Yes you know. There aren’t any content surprises around the corner. You know what is going to happen because they pretty much told you what was going to happen.

It’s not like they’ll wake up tomorrow and go, “Hey! Let’s do away with all this grinding nonsense and put in something fun!”

Come on man.

They very foolishly thought that the player base would pick up the slack, which is actually hilarious when you consider how much feedback they ignore.

People don’t want to pay to test a multi billion dollar game studio’s product. We want a finished product on release.

Pretty sure I’m not the only one who was amused by this. It’s only a comment that is posted oh, every single patch/expac.

Early this morning I had 2 characters on my 2 accounts doing Legion world quests. They were at the Temple of Elune, one doing the Barrels of Fun quest, while the other was waiting on the other side, because having another party member nearby breaks that quest.

Someone kited Sharthos there and dropped threat on my character. Sharthos is the Legion world boss of the week, a gigantic fire-breathing dragon who does fears and drops flame wreath on the ground. My character being a 120, she got away.

But all I could think was, I thought they fixed it in vanilla so people couldn’t kite world bosses and do things like that.

How did this break something that’s been fixed for 14 years?

Yea some people are never happy, no matter what.

So you believe that even if they didn’t lose people in their QA team that these bugs wouldn’t have come up in the first place? You really think that is how bugs are prevented from appearing moving from a PTR realm to Live realm?

There have been worse patches in terms of bugs and glitches AND there was a patch once, albeit I suppose a .05 patch, that pretty much just had a selfie camera . . . . . . .

A lot more would have been caught, that is for sure. They have to release patches on a set time line. This is not the old blizzard when its done its done, people forget that.

Note: Blizzard didn’t ‘lose’ a QA team like a left sock in the dryer. They were laid off. Blizzard did this to themselves.

Meh I respectfully disagree with you.

I don’t wanna argue over this.

Have a good day sir.

Shadowlands needs to be spotless. It’s a turning point in this game’s history.

Buddies for anal in general has been a complete and utter failure the only time i can think of that has left a worse taste in my mouth was when they locked flying behind pathfinder and tried to sell it on the 25 dollar cat mount in wod.

This patch does not instill hope despite what we’ve been told this entire crapspansion it kills it.

If you say so.
For me, the start of a patch and the end of a patch are NOTHING alike.
Its not about what is and isn’t coming.
Its how it plays over time.

No…that is just misleading as heck dude.

Can you at least admit that this is one of the worst patch launches wow has ever experienced? Probably haven’t had one so bug filled since cata or further.

I Agree. I was in raid group WM on in VoEB 1-17-20 and we killed alliance and killed the rare without it being reset it was grey. No credit. Also did same solo. No Credit. I log into another character and was told you should get credit because it was greyed this time too Others around me got credit. The other people in general said I should have gotten credit. Confusing & buggy @ the same time. :man_shrugging:
